Fantastic and well maintained, scenic and professional. Has everything, members move quickly so even though it was busy we were not held up at all. Staff were friendly and professional. Will definitely return.

Very beautiful setting, also very busy on a Saturday. They told me as much when I made my reservation. We stayed at the hotel and was able to get onto the west course. We arrived from the States that morning and basically checked into the hotel and made our way over to the course for our 3 pm tee time. Check in was very professional and friendly. They said we were paired up w a solo, but nobody showed up, so at 3:03, we hit away. The course was great and amazing views. I would recommend playing it. Play for slow, but with those surroundings, it was OK with us.
We thought about having a Guinness after the round, but the bar appeared to be sectioned off via members and non members sections. Non member section was empty, so we headed back to the hotel for our first Guinness in Ireland.

There are two courses at Powerscourt. Both very enjoyable. It is always busy. Can also be windy and cold so bring the rain gear. Scenic and challenging with some long holes. Recommended.

We play on a beautiful day. Very nice golf course and wonderful clubhouse. Right beside the golf course is the old house which was great to visit and have lunch and walk the gardens.

Had a round of golf in powerscourt golf club. We all really enjoyed out time . Lovely layout. After golf enjoyed a walk around the old house and had lunch. Great !

Our first round of golf in Ireland. We played the West course. Fun, challenging, fair layout in a beautiful setting.
The condition of the course is superb. The greens are challenging with many ups/downs. We were first off and didn't have time to use the practice facilities to learn the greens or hit with the loaner clubs (our mistake). It would have been worth the time.
We played in under 3 hours without hurrying.
Highly recommend. Friendly, helpful clubhouse staff.

We have stayed in many 5 star hotels around Ireland and this is for sure ranked the bottom of our list.
Upon arrival myself and my partner checked in and thought it would be nice to sit in the sugar loaf lobby for a bit to eat. We were sitting down 30 minutes and not one staff member came over to us. After this half hour I had to grab a waitress’ attention. This also happened the same evening when we went for a drink in the lobby we had to look for service instead of being approached.
Down at the spa in the leisure Centre I went to the toilet and I found so much hair at the bottom of my slippers from walking around the pool area. The pool area was also unoccupied with no cleaning staff and I nearly slipped a few times.
Very disappointing for a 5 star. Wouldn’t even rate it a 3 in my opinion. Won’t be recommending to anyone.

Beautiful golf course in amazing surroundings let down by the most unfriendly bar staff we have ever encountered. The lady at the bar was rude from the moment we arrived so much so that we decided to leave rather than stay for lunch after our round. Because of this we won't be back unfortunately.
