Been here a few times. Just love this place so much. Great river views seating, very friendly people/staff, the best craft beer in town, decent food, fair prices and okay music.
We arrived around 12. It was pretty much empty. By the time we left around 1:15pm the place was packed; no seats.
Get there early is the best advice I can give.

It’s good fun at the weekends, especially for the younger crowds. Nice beer and a friendly atmosphere along with snacks and music. It gets busy for a good reason and it’s not really a tourist hangout.

All the beers are really good. The place is packed all the time. You can easily spend the day to tour around koh kret and chill out after going around the island here. Good musician band, vibe and food!

After a hot sweaty walk, we end the day at Chit Beer to cool ourselves down with a couple pint craft beer! The place is packed with locals. Love the rose beer, the beer cost between 100 to 150 baht. Nice ambiance, nice live band music and nice beer!

Удивительная история - в Бангкоке, не богатом на крафт, в целом, и с безумным ценником на оный, внезапно но острове Крет.... Встречаю крафтовый бар со своей маркой... С отличными ценами, прекрасными закусками, живой музыкой, и потрясающими видами на реку.
Тут нечего добавить, жемчужина в Бангкоке, обязательная к посещению любителями крафтового пива, да и ценителями этого напитка в целом!
Твёрдые 5 баллов!

Ended our walk around Koh Kret at Chit Beer. Place was packed with locals on a Sunday evening. We were offered a few beer samples to taste before we make our drink choice. Black Cat IPA was my favorite beer, the Saison being a close second.

Looks popular in Riverside in ko kret no seats in main bar, order and went to a boat where seats are arranged. Good environment and river view, can order some food also, had good time.

What a great little place. Drinking craft beer by the river, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and nibbling on fried pork & french fries is a must! The best was that Khun Chit was there behind the bar greeting and serving customers with the famous Thai smile. We asked for beer tastings and we got the lot. In my opinion, on the day the winner beer for me was Good Man Pale Ale. But I have to say the stout and the red cider were good too. They even had wines (small bottle BTH 80) of red or white in the fridge. The place is child friendly too as we saw some locals with their young families. Recommended for a lazy afternoon weekend drinking super cold beers and listening live music. Can you believe you can get all of this in Bangkok?

Really wanted beer that didn't taste of fizzy cardboard and had heard about Chit so took a taxi to the place where you get the ferry to Ko Kret (open Sat and Sun only). Once you disembark, turn left and follow the shore line of the island for a good 5 min walk and you'll reach it. Great beers and lovely staff, we had 3 or 4 (or 5!) beers and then got going well before the last boat back (which leaves 21:30). Wish these beers were available throughout Thailand like Pasteur Street have managed in Vietnam.

Love this place❤️ Good vibes, good beer and good music. I always stop here before I get back home after long ride a bicycle around the island. Also cheap craft beer❤️❤️

How to get there by boat.

Get a/c bus 505 from Lumphini Park (TBH 25 one way), get off at last stop Pak Kret market. Turn left and walk to the first road, turn right and walk 10 min easy until the end and you will find the pier with the boat to Koh Kret TBH 2. Not the quickest option but certainly the cheapest. Enjoy!
