The overnight stay or weekend getaway “flat” is a perfect place to stay if you want a rural outlook, but a short drive to Forster & surrounds. Mary & Steve are very welcoming, relaxed hosts, who appreciate visitors’ privacy. The flat is air conditioned & they provide a continental breakfast, as there is only tea/coffee facilities & toaster....but that’s all good - Krambach Hotel & Nabiac a short drive for meals. So happy we found this little gem!!!

Looking for last minute accommodation on the day before News Years Day for 2 adults and a 4 year and went to the Glouster Information centre and saw the name on the door. I rang up and didn't know what to expect as the cottage was only $100 and the owner was very laid back. He said there was no bed for a child but we had a mattress so they said there was enough room and he was more than happy to accommodate. On arrival we were amazed as it is very beautiful vineyard and was met by the owner and she was lovely and relaxed. We went in to her wine tasting office and I asked to try some wine before we checked in and she was very accommodating. I bought a bottle of red for $10. On arrival to the room we both loved it. There is only one cottage and it is free standing with in the beautiful vineyards and it is very private. On the outside it looks like a older traditional cottage and inside was very beautiful with a single room with a cute bathroom, nice shower and soft towels, There is a great little kitchenette decked out with kettle, toaster, microwave, tea & Coffee making and it even had bread and cereal for breakfast. The room has all the comforts you need, TV, A/C, Desk, built in cupboard and there was enough room for our daughter on the mattress. The Cottage has a varender which looks onto a Bower Bird nest with all blue pegs, lids ect. The only request from the owner with our stay was not to disturb the nest. The setting is beautiful and this is a awesome place if you want to experience the country, listen to the birds, see a beautiful vineyard and just feel relaxed. We were both amazed to stay here and would expect to pay a lot more for a similar room so the value for money is excellent.
