Excellent experience for the four of us. A good couple of hours spent focused on perfecting our painting. We felt.welcome.and not rushed at all throughout. Thrilled by the end product when we collected a week later. Will be back.

This place is a bit of a hidden treasure and is out on an industrial park so you are unlikely to happen across it by chance. It's basically pottery painting, you pick a blank object from a wide selection and paint it, you then pick it up a week or so later when its been glazed and fired. It's a simple concept but it's really enjoyable and both children and adults will find it appealing. You get an hour and a half slot (it was quiet when we were there and stayed longer without an issue) and I believe you have to pre book as it's a small place. It can become expensive if there are several in your group but it's something different and for the experience and end object it's good value.
The owner was very friendly and praises the childrens work, we ve been twice now and plan to return, definitely recommended.

Had a lovely relaxing afternoon at the studio in August with my 6 year old and newborn son. We enjoyed it so much we’ve now done a couple of the takeaway kits at home too which we love doing. Something a bit different for us to do together with the added bonus of having a keepsake at the end of it. Really good value when visiting the studio or when completing at home and the kits include everything you’d need. Highly recommended 😀

We were at the studio last weekend and it was absolutely pristine.
Social distancing is maintained as each family has their own dedicated table and there is a huge space to move around in.
We painted with our 2 year old son and has such a fantastic time picking our pieces and working with Lynne and Dan to make some beautiful and unique keepsakes for family birthdays and in advance of Christmas.
We felt absolutely in safe hands and everyone was wearing masks and cleaning etc. It is the happiest place for adults and children alike and everything is so reasonably priced!
There is plenty of choice of what to paint and you get lots of time to do it and Lynne and Dan can help personalise anything professionally.
Cannot recommend enough.

Really enjoyable morning. My 10 year old granddaughter really enjoyed picking out a seahorse and painting it. The owner Lynne was so friendly and nice and even offered to paint the eyes of the seahorse for her as my granddaughter was concerned about spoiling it with the detailing. My daughter and I both enjoyed our project and although I’m not at all artistic I found it very therapeutic. We will certainly be returning and I definitely recommend this place for a great rainy day activity.

We went to Rosebud Ceramics this afternoon and it was brilliant! Lynne was amazing in giving advice and the staff were just really welcoming and helpful! Can’t wait to see our finished product and will definitely be returning - thank you!

Decided to try something different with my 7 Yr old son and opted for Rosebud ceramics in Seaham. I have to say both of us were made to feel very welcome and we had a lovely time painting a robot what my son had picked. Dad even got a nice cuppa from the lovely staff. Reasonable priced and very friendly, highly recommend.

Our grandchildren had a great time here selecting a figure and having a lot if fun painting them. There us a wide choice of things to paint and the prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Finished items are fired and we received a telephone all a couple if days later to say ours wrte ready and we were delighted with the results. A great family activity.
