I was really looking forward to going to a tea plantation while in India and this exceeded expectations. We had a very informative and enjoyable tour with Benny, while walking through the tea plantation. Afterwards, he brought us into the factory and expertly explained the drying process.
Then,we had a tea tasting, which was just lovely.
We were keen to wall around the plantations afterwards, and take in the scenery, and we're delighted when Benny told us this was possible.
I would not only recommend Connemara but also highly recommend Benny as a guide.

It was great experience to visit here with my family. Guide was very helpful and tea was very nice. I will recommend others to visit here. I bought 6 packets of tea.

Great visit!
We had already visited the Munnar Tea Museum but were very disappointed by the lack of explanations! A visit sent in 5 minutes with a group of ten people where we do not take the time to explain things.
So we tried our luck again in Kumily. Benjamin, our Guide, explained the tea making process from A to Z in perfect English and taking the time to answer all our questions! We then visited the factory and were treated to a free tea tasting.
1 hour tour in total in small group or alone with the Guide.
We highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Connemara Tea Factory, and it was an experience to remember. The tour was incredibly informative, providing a deep dive into the world of tea production. Our guide was exceptional—knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the subject. He took the time to explain every step of the tea-making process, from the cultivation of the leaves to the final product in your cup.

Had a wonderful tour around this factory which was build in 1941. It show the finest ways of harvesting and preparing tea. After the tour you can taste some of the tea created in this factory. The tour guide was excellent. Enthousiastic and told a lot about the process.

The visite in this Tea Factory was the best I had in India until now! Very informative and interesting, with a tea tasting at the end! 250 rp/person is okay too! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience at the Connemara tea factory.Our guide Stebin Chandra was very informative and very friendly.Tea tasting at the end of the tour was a nice touch.Our parents also really enjoyed the tea factory visit.Highly recommend this place .

I can highly recommend the tea factory. The enthusiastic and engaged guide provided us with lots of interesting facts about tea, the tea-making process and the factory itself. The tea tasting at the end was a nice warp-up of the tour. Overall, the tour took roughly 1 hour (longer or shorter depends on the amount of questions you have). They also have on outlet attached to the factory. There you pay the connemara retail price only.

It was a wonderful tour.. Educative, interesting and beautiful.. The host was very warm and took pains to explain each and every process well.

This is a worthy place to stop heading to Kochi. Connemara is locally very popular brand associated with good quality tea and good prices. Learning what it takes to produce good tea is fascinating. We bought tea in 500 mg bags to take home and enjoy. They ran out of their delicate white tea during our visit.

Do we need to book in advance or can we just go whenever?

Years ago I got a present: a small wooden box the Connemara Tea (leaves). I cannot forget the delicious taste and smell. Where and how can I buy this beautiful tea? Thank you. Matte from The Netherlands (Europe). I will and can pay anyway you like.

I live in delhi. In January month we visited Kerala and we bought connemara regular tea. I want to order the same tea. Do you guys courier it to delhi, we'll pay online?
