A rare rock formation and a worth place to visit. One can have a panoramic view of Nakki Lake & some portions of Mount Abu, from this place. But beware, to reach this place, one has to climb, at least for 20 to 30 minutes, from the bottom of the hill and therefore it is advisable that aged persons or persons with heart disease or suffering from Orthopedic dis-orders better avoid this place. Another sad thing is, the local Administration has not displayed any sign-boards, in the town, showing the route to this place and therefore with the assistance of Google Map, one can reach this place.

If you see from a distance this looks like a Toad. On the top there is plain surface. And here you can see scenic view, nakki lake view is good from Toad rock.

It’s a big huge rock which resembles the Posture of a frog leaping from the hill to the water. The view from this place is also amazing and quite. You will not see many people around and thus you may sit for hours in peace.

Toad rock was very attractive place in mount Abu. From there view of mount city was wonderful. This rock was naturally created.

The way to toad rock starts from a point near Nakki Lake and the staircase has about 250 stairs (roughly) in all. The walkway passes through a little thick growth of trees and shrubs so it can seem to be pretty scary but it honestly is not.
The whole place is good for some really amazing elevated shots of Mount Abu.

Toad Rock in Mount Abu. This is the rock thats carved out in the form of a toad. One can view the Nakki Lake from the Toad Rock. Its not the most comfortable point to reach if you are with small children or with elder people as there are numerous stairs some proper and some carved with stones to reach that point. The only great thing is the view of the Nakki Lake.

Are we Indians illiterate.We are destroying natural beauty.The toad rock offers scenic beauty.But we have thrown empty beer bottles,wafers packets and everything that we can litter.We don't deserve to be called true Indian,if we ourselves are destroying natural beauty.My humble appeal to all those visiting this place,please keep all garbage in your bag.And throw them in dustbins(many kept by authorities) kept at Nakki lake.

This attraction just behind the Nakki lake. The walkway is bit scary as it passes through the jungle. We waited for couple of minutes waiting for other to join us & finally after an hour we find a group coming down hence we started our journey to toad rock.
The staircases were in bad conditions. Certain portion were even completely broken.
Its just huge rock which in the shape of Toad. There was temporary shop selling water & other beverages. The place was dirty made by the tourists. The local administration has not yet installed any garbage boxes et knowing there is shop in operation. The lake view is amazing from this point.
