Memorable boat ride through the Fjords

We took the RIB boat tour and our guide Ervin was entertaining and knowledgeable. Ervin shared lots of cultural informations on the villages all around the fjord. This activity is the highlight of our visit to Flam.

Would do again!

This is by far the best fjord exploration we had in Norway! We got so up close with the waterfalls and the views. The staff took such good care of us to ensure we were safe and warm—plus provided in-depth information about the area! We would love to come back and do the longer tour next time!

Fun adventure in Flam!!

We booked a rib boat tour in Flam and had Paulina as our guide. She was amazing- she made sure we were dressed warm enough for the ride, was really informative and had a great sense of humor.
It was definitely the highlight of our stay in Flam as we were able to get up close to many waterfalls and hear stories about the area.
This is such a fun trip and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

My group (5 adults) booked a RIB boat tour through a tour company called Norway Active. Fjordsafari hosted the boat tour portion and it was by far my favorite part was the Fjordsafari. You get so close to everything compared to larger cruise boats and it's a much more intimate experience due to the small size of the boats. With Norway Active, you only take the boat one-way, so you need to bring all your belongings with you. But because the employees were so thorough about attire and staying dry, even in the rain, we (and our stuff) were totally dry.

I wish I could remember our guide's name from this part of the trip because he was informative, funny, and offered a truly wonderful experience. It was such a unique way to experience the beauty of the fjord. I would do it again in a heartbeat and highly recommend for just about anyone!

Amazing waterfall hike

The waterfall hike led by Rose (their first, they informed us, you’d never had guessed!) was amazing. Despite a couple of set backs like horses being in the wrong place which meant we couldn’t go via the normal route, Rose made the whole experience fun and interesting, telling us facts the whole way and laughing with us like friends. The actual waterfall was beautiful and so powerful, we got soaked and it was amazing! After climbing back down Rose gave us a hot toddy and a chocolate bar and advice on what else to do in Flåm, I would 100% recommend this experience and a heartfelt thank you to Rose for a brilliant morning.

From the warm and helpful welcome to the jounety itself with Pieter it was magic. Still it is my heart and I will never forget this experience.
It is not "touristy" and trouly authentic with wonderful people.
Back home, I still feel this magic and the spirit of this wonderful team.
