Excellent. Authentic Thai cooking from an authentic, genuinely lovely Thai teacher. A great hands-on experience. And loved eating the food we actually cooked.

Simply the best!

Everything about this experience was the best. Pui is knowledgeable, talented, friendly and oh so patient with those of us that are ‘non cookers’ but after this class can now cook exceptional dishes!
Flexible menus to choose from, top grade ingredients, a lovely setting to cook and dine in. The meals we created were delicious. Definitely recommend to anyone wishing to do a ‘cooking class’ when is beautiful Phuket.

Best Cooking Class in Thailand

The class takes place inside a house in a nice gated neighborhood in Phuket.

My wife and I have taken several cooking classes in the United States, and they almost always felt formal. Partially due to the location inside an actual home, this class felt more like cooking and eating with a friend.

Pui speaks great English. Her natural curiousity makes it easy to talk with her, as she displays a genuine interest in the people taking her class. She also did an excellent job of communicating ahead of time in terms of details.

We had a few scheduling quirks to work through and she showed flexibility, grace and patience, which we appreciated.

In terms of the food, Pui picked out some super fresh ingredients from the market. She made it easy and simple for us. But we got to actually cook a good bit. I'm often diasppointed at the lack of actual cooking at American cooking classes, but the amount of cooking for this class was perfect.

Each dish was authentic, not overly complex and delicious. My wife, who never eats fish, even loved the fish.

Pui gave us a great mix of education, cooking technique and general friendly conversation.

This may be the best thing we did the entire time we spent in Thailand. If you have the opportunity to book this class, do it and don't give it a second thought.

Great class run by a great person.

Fabulous class for our family

Very informative tour and class. So much food and so delicious. Recipes can be easily recreated at home. Would not hesitate to recommend. Would do it again if I come back to Phuket.
Price is very reasonable for the overall experience as well as amount of food provided.
There were 6 in our group with varying levels of experience and Chef Pui was by able to move at good pace, not leaving anyone behind while providing lots of detail and information.

Quality Thai cooking experience

The class is a great experience, our family attended with mixed age, dietary issues and experience and we all felt included. Chef Pui kept the class running at a pace to suit the experience level without taking away from the experience. The food prepared and techniques used demystified some dishes and gave a greater understanding of the Thai cooking process.

Wonderful experience!

My mother in law and I did a market tour and cooking class with Pui. We had an overall wonderful experience! Pui took her time showing us around a local market and explaining many local ingredients used in traditional Thai dishes. We then got to cooking four delicious dishes! Pui coached us throughout the meal preparation process and shared some stories of how she developed a love for cooking over the years. We had a wonderful time and would recommend BrassWok cooking to anyone visiting the area! Thank you, Pui!!

What a fun experience! The food came out tasting better than 99% of the restaurants we ate at on our stay.

And the chef was very patient and gathered lots of great tips on how to perfect our Thai cooking skills.
