Thank you SMJ Falconry for a magical time today. We celebrated my mum’s 80th birthday with a one hour owl experience and it was fantastic. They were extremely friendly and very accommodating of my mum’s health needs. We will definitely return and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Special memories were created today.

We visited as a family of 10, aged from 6-73. We had an amazing experience. We were made very welcome. The visit was not overloaded with facts and stats, and the information given about every bird was
easily understood by even the youngest. Everyone had a thoroughly good time, and was voted the "best time had" by us all

Booked a full day with a friend. Our falconer, Katy, showed us the birds in their enclosure and then we flew a selection in the exercise field. After lunch we did two hunting trips with different birds.
Katy was astonishing, hugely knowledgeable, passionate about the birds and a brilliant client manner. This combined with the lovely scenery and beautiful weather made for an unforgettable day. I can’t recommend highly enough.

We went for a couples bird of prey experience after being bought this as a gift . It was amazing ! Stephen was great and he knew the birds well and he was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our questions . The rest of the team were lovely too and they clearly loved the birds and they were really well looked after that was obvious to see . We got to fly a good range of birds of prey for a good amount of time . Would 100% recommend to anyone because not only is it different it’s special to be so close to the birds. Would buy for others and even go again myself well done guys

Had an amazing time, all the staff were lovely! Booked this as a birthday gift for my best friend, we wanted something slightly different to their usual experiences and they were more than happy to accommodate. Excellent communication on email, quick responses. Excellent explanation of the address too!

I booked the owl experience with myself as the active participant and my boyfriend as the spectator. We had a really wonderful day meeting more than eight owls along with humans Chris and Steve. SMJ really knows their owls individually, and the birds each have fun personalities. It was a great time getting to know them, and Chris managed the weather very well (it rained-ish on us for most of the afternoon), taking us in and out appropriately so that we weren't out in the cold and wet all day. I highly recommend a trip to SMJ to meet their owls or other birds if you prefer!

I would just like to say what a lovely time I had at SMJ Falconry. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very informative. I would definitely recommend a visit.

What a great afternoon! Friends booked this for me and I had a lovely afternoon meeting all the birds, then having time flying various types, starting with the lightest then moving steadily up to bigger ones. My favourite was Tiffin the kestrel, but all the birds were beautiful. A great way to spend an afternoon, informative and fun. Highly reccomended. Thankyou.

I booked the half day bird of prey experience. My husband accompanied me to take photos. Very knowledgeable staff and they spoke with enthusiasm for their lovely birds. It was a privilege to be able to get so close to these beautiful creatures.
