Place without equal. Without a doubt to repeat. Wonderful views. We ate a sandwich with the sound of the waterfall in the background, which tasted wonderful!!

The views are amazing. It is advisable to visit in spring, when the torrent comes down very strongly and generates smoke. It is preferable to visit from in front of the waterfall, to have a complete view. There are two parking lots and from the one below you can get there quickly, although there is a bit of a hill.

The site is spectacular. I advise taking the car to the end of the road or as close as possible because the return climb is expensive. You have to go down for a long time along a stone path that is a bit difficult on the way back (I mention this in case older people and small children go)
But it's so worth it!

I have read many negative opinions about access by car from Masueco. They told us that it was better to leave the car in the town, but that means a walk of about 10 km (i/v).
We decided to take the car to the tiny parking lot. The road was wet and the car was skidding but in the end we got there and it was so worth it.
If the weather is good it is impossible to find a parking space so it's up to you.

Outrageous, it has no other qualifier, to reach the Pozo de los Humos, a path of shame, I do not recommend anyone a shame, nor can goats walk on said path.

Me ánimo a escribir esta opinión para alertar a los futuros visitantes de este lugar. Accedimos desde el pueblo de Masueco y ahí encontramos 2 indicaciones perfectamente indicadas para el Pozo de los Humos, una para peatones y otra para vehículos. Seguimos el camino indicado para vehículos y el estado del mismo es bastante malo sobre todo el tramo final. Nosotros le dejamos antes de llegar al parking en una zona ancha porque veíamos que las cuestas ya eran muy empinadas y con muchísimos baches. Lo peor fue el camino de vuelta. Al poco de dar la vuelta te encuentras que por el mismo camino por el que vinimos hay una señal de "Dirección prohibida" y sale al lado otro camino que pone Masueco. Entendiendo lógicamente por la señal que no podíamos volver por el mismo camino por el que llegamos (porque además si te encontraras un coche en el otro sentido sería imposible pasar los 2), tomamos el camino que indicaba Masueco. El estado de este camino es incalificable (no se me ocurren suficientes adjetivos para definir su pésimo estado); estrecho, con baches y llenos de zarzas en ambos lados que van dejando sus marcas en tu vehículo a tu paso, Me tocó varias veces bajarme de mi coche para apartar zarzas que invadían casi totalmente el camino porque sino no podíamos ni pasar. Dantesco!!! Que un pueblo pequeño tenga un sitio turístico tan visitado y tenga los caminos en ese estado me parece patético. Supongo que habrá algún interesado que tenga un taller de chapa y pintura en el pueblo para ir recogiendo los coches que vayan saliendo de ese camino porque no me cabe otra explicación. Si quieres bajar a verlo, tomate tu tiempo y baja andando desde el pueblo. Si por el contrario quieres pasar un mal rato y acabar con tu coche totalmente rayado, adelante!!!

Naturaleza en estado puro para olvidar las prisas. El acceso es regular pero un buen paseo es saludable y merece la pena. Muy cerca, en la presa de Aldeadavila, nos podemos asomar a los Arribes del Duero desde el Mirador del Fraile.

Cascada espectacular, impresionante el mirador en el aire sobre la cascada por el lado de Masueco. Conviene bajar andando desde el pueblo.

Maravilloso paisaje. Muy recomendable.
También se solicita al organismo correspondiente que asfalten el tramo de carretera desde Pereña y desde Masueco al lugar de aparcamiento de los vehículos. Es infernal.

El Parque Natural Los Arrives del Duero is located in Salamanca, and there we can find one of the most incredible waterfalls in Europe. It's 50 meters high and is created by the Uces River. You arrive there after walking among century-old oaks for around 45 minutes inside the park. Then suddenly, the landscape changes and appears 'El Pozo de Los Humos'. It's a huge waterfall. The noise is unbelievable and deafening. The force of the water falling into the void produces a mist that creates a wonderful landscape, so much so that you fall in love
On top of the mountain, there is a little lookout from where you can admire the waterfall and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.
However, if you suffer from vertigo, it'll be better not to look down!
You can also take hiking trails through the park and visit interesting places such as El Picon de Felipe viewpoint over the Aldeadavila dam.
This dam is 140 meters high and was built in the middle course of the Duero River in the early 1960s. It is working without interruption from 1962 to now.
In summary, it was an incredible experience that I would like to repeat

Buenos días, estuve la semana pasada y la cascada tiene un buen caudal de momento. Es verdad en 2017 estaba seca. Así que aproveche porque es una maravilla y hay muchas cosas que ver alrededor. Que disfrutes!!!

Hola. Estoy pensando en ir el fin de semana 24 al 27para ver la cascada de los humos. Pero no se si llevará suficiente caudal del agua, viajo desde Sevilla y quisiera que al menos se viera como en las fotos que veo o dejar el viaje para otro momento. Que me aconsejais los que la habéis visto hace poco ?

Hola compañero, yo cuando estuve tenía un caudal medio, me imagino que como no a llovido ni nevado el caudal puede que aya mermado, yo esperaría hasta la próxima temporada de todas maneras el paisaje es preciso, espero que te sirva, hasta pronto

Hola !! Cuanto es lo mas cerca de la cascada que se puede llegar 1 km ,10 km ??
.... vamos con niños de entre 1 año y 9 el mas mayor ( 5 niños) , es adecuada la ruta y sin paeligro para poder acceder con los peques??

Podéis llegar con el coche hasta unos 400 metros el camino es un poquito malo y luego es bajada lo que enteraros si hay agua cuando fuy no había ni una gota muy triste y muy desilusionada
