Was very disappointed when arriving at the beach as the whole grounds that you need to walk up towards the beach was absolutely FULL of goose droppings/poop, it was disgusting. Luckily I had not brought my toddler with me! I have no idea why this has not been reported or looked into as I am sure kids go there everyday and its awful to think that they could be running around in all that. The beach itself wasn't very clean either, bottles and wrappers left in the sand, and the water was not the best.
We didn't stay long as it just felt dirty.
I will not be going again or recommending this beach.

J'ai été passé la journée entière avec ma famille.
Malgré qu'elle était vraiment bondée, la plage en elle-même était acceptable.
La température de l'eau était bien, mais il y avait beaucoup de pierre dans le fond l'eau qui faisant mal au pied lorsqu'on marchait.
Notre diner au restaurant était très décevant, mais notre cornet de la crèmerie en après midi a été très apprécier.
Notre plus beau moment fut notre activité sur les modules gonflables flottant en fin de journée. L'activité de 60 minutes a valu les 38$ que ça nous a couté.
Je confirme les commentaires qui disent que la propreté des lieux n'est pas au rendez-vous. Par contre, ce n’est pas ce qui m'a le plus dérangé.
La principale raison pour lequel nous n'y retournera pas est dû au rassemblement de personnes qui font des BBQ de charbon dans le parc adjacent à la plage. Plusieurs pique-niques ont dégénéré en party avec influence d'alcool et cannabisme au cours de la journée. Pas vraiment un endroit pour les enfants.

Great place close by Montreal you can bring your barbecue grill, lots of parking,toilets are clean, playground for kids with in ground pool,restaurant at the beach with ice-cream kiosk, if you visiting Montreal during the summer it’s the place to visit

Un bel endroit familial où l’on peut faire beaucoup d’activités MAIS il y a tellement d’excréments partout dans la pelouse ça n’a aucun bon sens et les toilettes sont très sales. C’est désolant si c’était entretenu ce serait un endroit magnifique. Il y a plein de tables de pic-nique mais toute dans le gazon remplie d’excréments.

We are camping in the area with our 2 dogs. This beach looks lovely and appears to be one of the few up locally accessible water front spaces in the area, but dogs are not permitted.I don’t expect to be allowed to take them into the sand or allow them to play off leash but we can’t even bring them into the extensive grassy areas. Our dogs are well behaved, always on leash in public and we always clean up after them (and ourselves). as a dog owner I often feel I am more conscientious of cleaning up after ourselves and not disturbing others, than many non dog owners are.

La distanciation n était pas respecté, les toilettes ne sont pas propres. Il y a plein d excréments d animaux dans la pelouse. J'ai aussi vu plusieurs personne qui fumaient. Au prix que l on a payé 24$ pour 2 personnes multiplié par le nombres de personne sur la plage 2500 ça fait un très gros montant par jours. Il pourrait y avoir plus de personnel pour faire le ménage et surveiller.

I liked this beach. It is very clean, there are many tables to sit there under the trees, also you can find a place to lay on the sun. We were at Friday and there were many people. The water is VERY clean. You can rent catamaran and other activities and this is cheap.

A huge place with a variety of activities for everyone. Our older ones were busy at the water climbing Eau Defi, while the younger one found the beach and water fountains playground in the back. Yo can rent a paddle board, a pedalo, bring your BBQ, or just relax under the “palm trees “ on the beach. Accessible entry fee, kids under 4 gratis.

Belle plage, l'eau est magnifique, limpide. Par contre le chemin pour s'y rendre ainsi que l'air de repas étaient jonché d'excréments d'animaux. Impossible de laisser un enfant se promener seul par terre. Il fallait zigzaguer entre les excréments. Mégos de cigarettes aussi trouvé dans le sable. Donc l'entretien laisse à désirer. Mais nous y retournerons pour la beauté du paysage et de l'eau.

What is parking like for handicapped

Hello Jane! While I'm not 100% sure, it could be a challenge for a person to move around at this place with physical limitations. The parking is hard packed gravel sometimes uneven but flat to access the beach.
They seem to offer the beach wheelchair so they should have thought about access.
There is a boardwalk that runs along the beach which is flat, but their might be a step, I can't recall. Picnic tables in a shaded area is not too far from the parking.
Hope you can enjoy this place as we did.
