We spent an amazing and unforgetable moment with funny Wayan and his professional team.
They are carefull with us but also with animals and the environment.
The groups are not so big, so we felt good, relax and secured.
Organization is very good, Wayan cares of everything!
We 100% recommand DNP

I would highly recommend the South Island tour to anybody looking for a day trip to Nusa Penida. We book our trip with Discover Nusa Penida. The communications back and forth via Whats App was great.
The tour price include pick up and drop off at our hotel, boat ride to Nusa Penida and a full day private tour. We had the pleasure of having Putu Melle as our tour guide.
She met us at the pier when we got off the boat. She lives nearby, so we walked to her house, able to use the rest rooms and got fitted with fins for snorkeling later.
Since we left the hotel early, we had not had breakfast. She stopped at a great little café where we got a quick bite.
During the day, we visited Kelingking beach, Broken beach, Angel Billabong and Crystal bay. Lunch was at a warung along the way. A very cute place with great food. Beer is not included, but we opted to pay for a couple on our own.
Putu was very informative telling us interesting facts about the island. She walked with us at each stop, and also took some amazing pictures and videos for us.
My wife was having some back pains and Putu helped her along the paths to ensure her safety!
We finished our tour a little early, but Wayan (Putu's father) walked us to the ticketing office, got us tickets for the earlier boat and stayed with us until it was time to board.
Thanks Wayan for a wonderful day visiting Nusa Penida. Clara and I had a great time and we both really appreciate having Putu as our guide. Well worth the amount paid!!

Booked the Kelingking beach, Broken beach/Angel Billabong and Crystal Bay tour in early May. The guide Putu is a very lively and cheerful person, very accommodating (brought us to some nice cafes for breakfast and coffee) and helped us with many pictures of this beautiful island. And the driver was very skillful and safe too.
The attractions are swarmed with tourists as you can image post-Covid but the spectacular Kelingking beach makes it worth it. Broken beach and Angel Billabong was nice too but Crystal Bay was disappointing as it was a little dirty and littered with plastics. I would advise heading out early to Kelingking and going all the way down to the beach to have a swim or just lie on the sands, and skipping Crystal Bay.

Had an amazing tour with Discover Nusa Penide and their crew. We left at a great time so that not too many people at the snorkeling site. The crew took a great care of my wife who is not very good at snorkeling. We felt comfort, safe and excited.
Will definitely recommed Discover Nusa Penida, Wayan and their crew.

Vraiment génial !
Très professionnel, il s'occupe très bien de ses clients et il connait les endroits.
Le propriétaire et son guide sont avec nous dans l'eau. Un peu plus cher mais ça vaut vraiment le coup. J'ai fait une première sortie avec une autre compagnie et nous étions 25 personnes dans le bateau....mais avec cette compagnie, des petits groupes, nous étions 3 seulement. Le bateau part plus tôt que les gros bateaux de touristes alors on a le temps d'apprécier les raies mantas avant le rush. Ils ne peuvent pas garantir de les voir mais nous avons été chanceux.
Le deuxième et troisième endroits sont les mêmes mais le troisième (Wall) est pas directement ou tous les autres compagnies vont....résultats beaucoup de vie marin, de poissons colorés, des coraux colorés..
Le dernier endroit, turtle point est différent des autres compagnies.... résultat 3 belles tortues.
L'équipement de bonne qualité, des explications sur les sites, beaucoup d'informations.
Je recommande vraiment !

We had such a great time with Wayan and his crew. We were only four customers on board and four crew members, so we felt super safe and comfortable! Although we weren’t able to swim with mantas, we saw the best coral reef in Bali!

Wayan, zijn vrouw en dochter zijn zeer gastvrij! Wij verbleven in zijn homestay en hebben van daaruit een snorkel trip geregeld. De tocht voor de dag die wij wilden zat al vol, dus daarom een dag later gedaan en daar hebben we geen spijt van gehad, want we waren maar met met zijn tweeën! Veel persoonlijke aandacht dus.
Wayan neemt zijn eigen camera mee en maakt foto’s en filmpjes die hij je via whatsapp doorstuurt. Ik had mijn GoPro bij me, maar die mocht ik afgeven aan zijn medewerker, die er vervolgens de mooiste filmpjes mee maakte!
We hebben op 5 verschillende plekken gesnorkeld en heel veel Manta rays gezien! Het was rustig en we gingen ook juist naar plekken waar niet veel, soms zelfs niemand was. Verder nog een paar schildpadden gezien, mooie vissen en mooi koraal. Er werd alle tijd voor ons genomen en we hebben dus overal uitgebreid gesnorkeld.
Ik heb van andere mensen verhalen gehoord van andere excursies met 20 man in een bootje, amper tijd om te snorkelen en erg gehaast, of maar 1 manta ray gezien, waar 20 man tegelijk op af ging. Ik ben dus erg blij dat wij de trip bij Wayan hebben gedaan!!!
We hebben ik geloof in totaal zo’n 3 uur over de trip gedaan.

Great trip to the manta bay and some.other snorkling spits. Booked a private tour with my girlfriend. After a disappointing trip the day before wirh an other company they wanted to make sure we were going to be satisfied. And we were! We left extra early so it would not be busy with tourists at the manta bay. And it was perfect we saw 5 mantas and we got a lot of pictures and videos.
Not the cheapest, but I think the best.

We had a wonderful day with Wayan swimming with Manta Rays.
Everything was well-organised, from the pick up in Canggu to the ferry to arrival on Penida Island. The cost was at the lower end of the options we explored. We booked directly with Wayan over What’s App.
Highlights:
• Small group - I loved that there was only 6 of us on the boat which enabled a way more personalised experience.
• Options and flexibility during the day - When we arrived at the first snorkelling spot, it was crazy! It was very tidal, windy and loads and loads of other boats. Swimmers were swimming around and within the boats, some of which still had motors running! Wayan suggested we move to another spot which we all heartily agreed with. Eventually we needed up at Manta Point, for an extra $Aus 20 each.
• Manta Point - swimming with the Manta Rays. There was probably about 8 of these majestic animals cruising around and there were very few people. It was just amazing!
• Snorkelling - we stopped at a few different spots
• Quality of the boat - new, comfortable and super speedy and easy to get in and out of!
• Quality of snorkelling equipment
• Underwater photography - Wayan took loads photos of us with the Manta Rays and snorkelling which he shared with us after the trip
• Look but don’t touch approach
• Water and yummy lunch was included
• Wayan was a friendly and helpful tour guide
Considerations: (not directly related to the tour)
• The public ferry we used to get over to Penida Island and back. It was packed, there were no COVID considerations and getting on and off the ferry was difficult. This involved climbing up into the ferry from the beach and it was a very big step up and unstable with the boat rocking. I was actually quite worried. The staff did pull us up onto the boat as needed. If you get sea sick, I would suggest taking tablets before you go.
Many thanks to Wayan, we had a great day with the Manta Rays and have many fabulous photos to remember it by.

Mis compañeros y yo hicimos un paseo donde incluía 4 paradas, incluida el nado con mantarayas. Fue increíble, en todo momento se preocuparon porque las vieramos y disfrutáramos el momento. Lo que más nos gustó es que se tiraban al agua con nosotros y nos sentíamos a salvo. Además, nos sacó fotos y videos y luego nos regalo un pendrive con las mismas! 100% recomendado

I am sure a pick up from Jimbaran would be possible. It would probably be quite early I would think (around 6.30am?) so you can get an early ferry across.

Call Pak Wayan or send him w.a. message. Depends on what kind of tour you'd like but on average AU $120 pp (for 2 ppl) but if you're on your own you'd pay a bit more but worth the money compared to other services. He's very attentive and safe. Care bout the environment and his clients

Hi, I would like to ask about the price of the tour?
Does the price include the speed boat from Jimbaran (my hotel) to Nusa Penida? Can I have contact and more info about the tour on 4 Sept 2018?
How did everyone book and pay for their DNP tour? Was the confirmation quite informally through email, and payment was 50% upfront via paypal to a personal email, and the other 50% in cash after the tour? Thanks for all the help!

Hello! My friends and I really want to book the Manta Mix Tour for the end of this month. However, its been three days since I inquired on there website about the price and booking and I haven't received an email yet. How did you book? On the website or in person? How long did it take to hear back? I really want to book before it gets full, but I dont know what to do!

We booked via the website.
We booked only a couple of days in advance, they got back to us almost instantly. Check you have the correct contact as they are very good.
