We had a wonderful time at Carobana today Watching artisans at work making truly stunning confectionery was a genuine privilege. Our tour guide Wendy was warm, enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable.
We have toured chocolate factories in NZ, Switzerland and York - while small and very modest in comparison, Carobana still offered a wonderful local experience.
The tastings were truly special. My personal favourite was the carob coated honeycomb - but all of them were mouthhappy delicious.
We now have lots of delicious and unique gifts for our friends and family.

A fabulous place to visit this family owned business. Interesting to watch the honeycomb being made with an explanation of the process. A coffee shop is a new addition but the highlight for our family is taste testing the samples then selecting their favourites to purchase. We’ll worth a visit

What a great place to go and visit. The staff are super friendly and they know their stuff! They are passionate about their company and are happy to share its history. The kids were able to sample as much of their carob and chocolate as they liked. The produce is absolutely delicious! We also had coffee and kids had milkshakes. Best coffees we have had on the coast to date. It was also organic for those who are into that. Highly recommend this place, we will definitely be back!

The people here really know their stuff, had a great time chatting with them for over an hr, unfortunately they don’t do production Friday -Sunday but do Monday to Thursday.
They have a small cafe inside that did great coffee they open currently at 8am and told us they where planing to open earlier in the near future bacon and egg rolls for $7, they also had some other things in cafe, but most importantly the carob products are absolutely great and the honeycomb syrup is great.
They where very accommodating to our whole families and we will drop in when ever going through Coffs or staying their.

Old place eldery people run most of it but it's been going with the same people for years.Stories they can tell about the business is amazing.
You see how it's all done by hand depends on what day you go what is being made.
There is always honeycomb and this time we saw rocky road.

Was easy to find on our way out of Coffs Harbour to Yamba. Friendly knowledgeable staff, yummy tastings and treats to purchase🙂

Small little factory where you can watch them making confectionary. The honeycomb is really yum and we will be back to buy some more next visit

Only managed to turn up shortly before closing. Fortunately there were no other customers around and Jean (who is the lovely lady everyone keeps mentioning in the reviews), greeted us and gave us a quick personal tour.
Despite the factory not being in production at the time, I learned a lot about the manufacturing process. It was lovely to see the elderly owners of this family run business so passionate about what they do.
I gladly bought some of their product and left shortly after.

Stopped in on way to coffs harbour for some tasty treats. Range was good, there would be something for everyone. Theres even a soy section. The factory was a bit more of a working museum than a factory but thats okay. Purchased some treats and went on our way.

This is a family enterprise situated in a semi-rural area a few kilometres from the centre of Coffs Harbour, I rang in advance and was given a particular time to visit the next day so that I could have a tour and observe production. Unfortunately, neither of these eventuated. The woman who met me at the door mainly left me to my own devices and had little to say about the business. Contrary to what I had been led to believe, no production was underway during my visit.
