Fun but be cautious

Was a great day apart from the wife copping a nice bruise to the side of the head when she got thrown sideways at the bottom of the middle drop down slide. All the others were great but that drop down slide can shoot you sideways into the wall down the bottom if you’re not careful. Toboggan was fun but not long enough and you can get caught behind people going too slow

Called in to have lunch. Chose the chicken and avocado toastie and chips which was lovely. Shared with my husband which was more than enough as we had a banana milkshake each as well. Prices were fair I think for what you got.

This is a great place to take kids lots of things to do for them and a very iconic place to visit. There is a water 💦 park three D cinema to visit also. Just a great place

Fun family firsts at the Big Banana

Adding a visit to the Big Banana turned out to be a surprising favourite highlight for our family road trip. Attractions we visited:

Giant slide: Five star fun! The considerable trek up the hill to get to the top of the slide was absolutely worth it. Good indoor activity. Our kids who don't love heights put their fear aside and had smiles ear to ear on this!

Toboggan: Five star fun! Terrific experience, scenic views. Tip: Drive up to the top carpark to get a photo of the course to go with the photos and videos you may take on the toboggan.

4D experience: We'd rate this four stars. Long waiting times overall, especially to get our family of four to be seated all together for a session. (7 seats were open for each session on the day we visited.) We were worried we wouldn't fit our two sessions in during our visit. Didn't realise the session times rotate i.e. you can't pre-plan which session to do; it's luck of the draw for what is on when your group gets to the top of the line, unless you keep forgoing your turn until you get into a show you want. We saw Dino Safari 2 and Canyon Coaster, which turned out to be our favourite. It's a pricey experience, and if I visited again, I would give this a miss and opt for a third go on the slide and toboggan for us all. Tip: we found the queues much faster in the late afternoon when alot of visitors had left.

Things to note:
*We bought a three-attraction combo. It came as a bundle of paper tickets, one for each ride (i.e. for us, 8 x tickets to the slide, 8 x tickets to the toboggan, 8 x tickets to 4D experience). Apparently these never expire, so if you don't get to complete all of the activities on your visit, you can use them at another time in the future.
*No booking times required for any of our activities (I wasn't sure about this from looking at the website). Just arrive and join a queue at each activity.

Overall: Appreciated the convenient parking. Took the obligatory photo in front of the Big Banana. Was a considerable cost for our visit but when we broke it down, the price per person was reasonable. Thanks for the opportunity to make some fun memories for our family!

Great day out

Fun for our 4yr 8yr olds to adult. Be careful on the 4d for the younger kids its pretty full on (canyon vid). We enjoyed: Water park, laser tag, ice skating, toboggan, all excellent. Cafe portion size for $28 fish and chips (all clearly from frozen) was woeful or perhaps merciful considering the quality. Staff were all friendly.

Excellent day out 🤩

Super fun with a great variety of activities. We bought unlimited passes and our 4 year old had a fantastic day. We did everything except laser tag.
The small waterslides in the splash pad area were especially great for his age as he couldn’t go on the big slides.

Great family day out

Awesome family day out, we bought the unlimited passes for 5, about $360 but fun for everyone! All ages and unlike big theme parks where not everyone can do all the activities, families can stay together and do it all. They really put safety and cleanliness to a high standard. Great day, recommend!

This is a great family fun park! We are a bit old for the rides and some attractions but we still went twice. My wife went straight to the Opal Centre, ouch! The Shop has plenty to offer and the Cafe has so much to choose from. This is a must visit when you are in Coffs.

Fun times!

Such a fun way to spend a few hours. Toboggan is always a must do for adults and children. The kids loved the giant slide and laser tag. And of course no visit is complete without a banana fritter/split and a visit to the candy store..

Had a ball

We had such a fun day. We did the giant slide, toboggan, laser tag, the reptile park, plantation tour, had a big banana burger and sweet potato halloumi wrap. Rides were fun and food was yum! Great day out.
