Outstanding Tassie Wine Experiences

I can not express how positive our experience was with Aging Barrel Tours, specifically our host Guarin Marsh. We were in Tassie for an extended period of time and wanted to experience the multiple wine areas surrounding Hobart. Guarin advised and ultimately put together an outstanding package of four different tours, three scheduled and one private. Guarin was an excellent guide. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable about the different wine areas, wineries, the cool climate wines and the local area. His interactions with the different wineries were superb, insuring they met the individual needs of all the people in our different groups. We unfortunately had to cancel our last tour because of illness, and that process was handled professionally. If we were to return to Tasmania, I would be happily relying on Guarin for another enhanced wine adventure.

Great tour, best wineries chosen as well a couple of side trips to cheese factory and historic town of Richmond.

Excellent day we were hosted bu Garren and he went above and beyond to make it a great day and got us back to the ship in time before they pulled up the gang plank .

Friendly and engaging day tour to cellar doors away from the tourist beat, with a super lunch to top it all off.

Very friendly and engaging driver, who happily guided us to 4 wine cellar doors where we experienced friendly and accepting hosts and sampled great wines to everybody's taste. We had a super lunch at Puddleducks winery, which exceeded our expectations. A very happy trip was experienced by all on the tour. Would go again on our next trip to Tassie.

Valleys of Vino

We loved our day out with Gaurin who was a great host and gave us lots of information along the way about the wineries and the local history. We were provided with generous tastings at all of the wineries and the Wicked Cheese Company. A delicious lunch was provided at Puddleduck Winery, including some lovely desserts and wine tastings. We would highly recommend spending the day on a Valleys of Vino tour.

We had a really fun time with Gaurin as our tour leader! He was very knowledgeable on the area, took us to places where we felt welcomed, was flexible with our needs, and knew the importance of a good playlist! Each venue had plenty of time to enjoy the wine and talk to the owners, and the lunch was the best we have ever had on a wine tour at Riversdale Estate - would definitely recommend!!

The best wine tour!!

Best day!!! Garran was the best host! He was so funny and kept the day flowing smoothly. He was so great! The mini bus was really nice too and the tour itself was incredible! We got to try the most beautiful wines and had the best lunch. I highly recommend this tour and am so glad we did it!

We could no fault our tour with Aging Barrel Tours. From our booking experience and communication, all was seamless. Garren is well versed in all things wine and local history, providing some great suggestions to wine we wouldn't normally try. If you are looking for a great day of beautiful scenery, wine, great food and down to earth banter. Aging Barrels is for you.. And did I mention if you happen to buy more wine than you intend, like we did. Aging Barrels offers a fantastic shipping service. We will definitely be returning with friends for another tour.
