We were there in February from Scotland and although we didn’t camp we toured in a motor home loved every minute of it.

Hey there very easy to manage routes on your own in dry seasons. Get a few maps from the visitor centre ( which includes aboriginal cultural centre) and then you will be able to find a hike to suit your ability. Enjoy it’s the best of the Australian bush

Certainly will be, it is a major tourist drawcard. Good luck with finding accommodation there this close to Easter though. Booked out weeks in advance.

There’s a few easy walks that a toddler can do and there’s a short flat walk to the bottom of a water fall that a toddler could easily do :) depending on their mood of course lol

There are hotels within the area. If backpacking is your scene, you can/may try YHA. YHA hostels are really good.Hope this helps.

The Grampians are beautiful in spring or winter, the waterfalls should have good flow. It can get very cold though so take warm clothing if not hiking much. Most of the Grampians are accessed by walking/hiking trails, so covering 70% would be difficult. We have visited about 4-5 weekends now, plus our wedding and still have many trails to conquer. By car there are two waterfalls with short walks. Menzies falls is lovely with steep steps. Silverband falls is short flat walk. If you can, look at the wonderland trail for amazing scenery, there are different paths with the pinnacle as the major lookout and the Grand Canyon is a fairly steep part with steps. The balconies is another good drive with a lookout and short walk with views. Stop by the visitor centre in Halls Gap for a chat with the staff and buy a map book - very handy and you can let them know where you going in case you run into any trouble. In town, the bakery does amazing vanilla (custard) slices :)
