The bar in many hoyts are not open. The staff are clueless about when they open if at all. Not for adults go to a Palace Cinema

Generally is okay,chairs are comfortable,decent distance between rows. They have free popcorn refills for members,so just register in app or website to get free refill

Nice to see people didn't feel the need to be on their phones throughout the film. Coming from Dubai this made the whole experience a lot less stressful. Big screen too.

$26 for two bottles of water and a popcorn. Absolute joke. Won’t ever go again. Bad enough it costs $20 for the tickets, illegal downloads will soar if you keep this up. Never ever again

A good option to watch a movie in the city. Good location and modern cinema. But prices are expensive and limited range of movies.

I went here to watch Aquaman with my friends. The area is not too crowded. The display and sound are excellent and the seat is very comfortable

We love the screen , the cleanliness, and since it's in a mall, easy to find plenty of options to.have food.

Easy to get tickets once you know how and where. I stood in line for about 5 minutes, but the line moved quickly. Cinema room small and intimate but the sound was way too loud. My husband and I put earbuds in our ears to dim the sound. Other than that, clean and comfortable. Convenient toilets.

We went to watch Bohemian Rhapsody in the Hoyts LUX section. We were greeted by a waitress and ordered drinks and a snack of hot chips. We also ordered drinks for the start of the movie. I couldn't help wondering about the uniforms the staff wore. They were decked out in horrible aprons and appeared to be wearing their own clothes underneath. I would have thought that a luxury cinema would deck their staff out in smarter gear. Anyway the movie was excellent and our reclining seats were comfy, our drinks arrived at the right time and they gave us free popcorn. Beware the step from the bar area it was lighted up but not obviously as a step. A few more female toilets wouldn't go astray as there was a long queue before the movie.

Good cinemas in a central location of Melbourne CBD.
Always clean and in good condition the cinemas and bathrooms.
Xtreme screens are a great addition and the seats are always comfortable with plenty of space unlike village cinemas.
Food is overpriced but always tastes good.
The cinema does validate your parking also so remember to get this done when purchasing your tickets at the box office.
