We had a fabulous day exploring the Bickley valley with Shannon as our guide. The communication was excellent, Shannon was friendly and knowledgeable and the venues we went to were exceptional. The bus as really comfortable. We were given this experience as a gift and would highly recommend it.

With thanks to Shannon we had a lovely day out in the Swan Valley tasting wines from many vineyards we were unfamiliar with. With only 7 in the group it was very personal and every one was delightful.
It was a great way to celebrate our 33rd Wedding Anniversary.

Paul was a great host. He drew everyone into the conversation so by the end of the second winery we were all good friends. We had a great group of people and we had a lot of fun tasting wine and comparing notes. All 4 of the wineries were different but each one had good wine.

What a great day out, Paul the host was amazing, shannon that handled our booking could not of been more accomodating or helpful. So much included for the price, great food and beers perfect experiebce we will definately be back for another tour.

5/5. Paul the tour guide was amazing. We live in Perth and never been to Bickley valley and they have many hidden treasures. 5 stops and awesome lunch. Each place was explained by passionate makers. Great tour guide see. Definitely would recommend. Great pick up and drop off places near train stations.

Thu was a fantastic guide, and the choice of venues was just right. We really enjoyed the group of likeminded people who shared the tour with us, and also loved the anticipation of what was coming next.

The Perth food tour was AWAMZING. Can;t recommed highly enough. Visited several place around town (where I live) that I had never heard of before. Hidden gems that I'll be going back to. Busy telling allmy mates to book this tour now. Paul was an excellent host who provided great background info on all the places and people. Thanks again.

We had an absolutely lovely day with Shannon, she engaged with us and had excellent knowledge of the area, wineries and wines. Transport was comfortable the places chosen for our group were perfect for our tastes! This was our first tour with Up Close and Local but will not be the last!

So fabulous! Paul is fantastic guide, his knowledge is vast and his passion for Perth and the Swan Valley region shines through. A small group tour is such a great way to enjoy the Swan Valley and meet other visitors, understand the history of the area, to learn about the variety of wines, hear about the wine making process and to meet some of the winemakers. Thank you so much for a great afternoon!
