Revolving installations and free entry, so worth a visit if you're in the precinct.
We weren't really engaged in the installation during our visit, but did enjoy the children's activity that involved making sculptures from fast food toys.

This is our new favourite art gallery that we visit every time we come into the city. There's always something to see and do and they cater well for families with children.

PICA -- pronouced "peeka" -- is in the old Perth Tech building in James St. Not everyone likes contemporary art, it can be challenging, and for evry hit you get a few misses It takes some appreciating. This area of the city, now known as the Cultural Precinct, is well worth spending a half a day to look around

We were late finding this gallery,so only had an hour before closing. As we hurried round it was apparent we needed more time as the galleries were full of great art from aboriginal, old pioneers,brand new artists.What staggered us was the amount of well known pieces by famous artists and sculptures.

Came pretty late around 4pm so didn’t get much time as I wanted, but there wasn’t much to see once I was inside. The building is pretty small in comparison to AGWA, and much fewer exhibits on display as well. Worth a quick visit if you are nearby, but otherwise AGWA has more to see and do.

When I visited this museum there was something that I didn't like.
There is just a big room which can be seen in the ground floor and in the level one.
I visited it just because it was free and the visit took me only some minutes.

Atendimento excelente, entrada livre e exposições interessantes. Havia também exposição de filmes eróticos, não cheguei a vê-los, pois não me interessou. Para ver esse conteúdo, expressamente para adultos, as pessoas olham através de um minúsculo orifício (buraco) na parede e do outro lado é que passa o video de conteúdo voltado para adultos.

PICA (pronounced "peeca") combines contemporary art and performance. These things are not everyone's cup of tea, but the aim of contemporary art is to reveal the unknown. It's in James St, near the city's arts precinct. If you don't know much about contemporary art, call in, you may get a surprise.Entry is gratis.

There is so so much more that would be done to soak up the integrity of this building, it shouts not much money gets spent in here. The art works are interesting and challenges the visitor but there is so so little of it. I left feeling sad and thinking it deserves better.

Beautiful undoubtedly, weird, as I didn't think I liked contemporary art.
I began to change my views after I visited the contemporary art museum in Naples, Italy. Pica, has completed the conversion process.
A fairly small display area with only a small number of exhibits, but, a perfect example of less is more.
