I found this place overall impressive but I think there should be a place where all kids should wear sunglasses for experiments.

Went with 3 year old, 6 year old and a 10 year old in the holidays. Super busy time to come. There was activities for all ages to enjoy and they all loved the planetarium show. Puppet show was a bit pathetic - none of the kids where that interested in it! The littler kids enjoyed playing in the special under 6 year old area for quite a while - the construction zone was a big hit! 6 year old enjoyed a scientific show. Recommend coming with kids aged 3 to 15 approx.

Cool but needs robot material and suits for children to wear during experiments

Scitech is a really cool place. I have to say, I really like almost everything about this place. I likes the playgrounds, experiments, safety measures and the planet trophy looking thing (Planetarium). When I went here I had lots of fun and satisfaction for the things I learnt at this place. I went here not once but twice, but both experiences are nearly the same. It is not without flaws though. The experiments could be quite scary and harmful to little kids but it was good education. For some reason, when I was here for both the occasions, the place felt robot looking and was quite dark. A few things could be added to Scitech to make it better. You could create a huge map of the whole building, add some extra and better games, make the experiments less scary, lower the time spent in the Planetarium and make the Scitech excursions slightly longer in terms of time.

Along with those normal changes mentioned just above, I also think that Scitech should include a robot related place in the building with robot like games and even wearable robot suit costumes for extra experiments and fun which are optional for adults but mandatory for children who visit Scitech as an excursion. I recommend robot suits for children to wear during a robot section so that the kids who wear them could have more interest with learning about robotic technology. The robot suits would be worn for 30 minutes and are then taken off when the experiments and games are done.

Cool place overall. I recommend to anyone who want to learn space like things.

a great adventure for kids

I have been here many times with my own kids, and recently went with 90 students from our primary school. The day was very well organised and the recent exhibit (cracking codes) was very engaging. We also visited the planetarium which always puts on a good show.

Scitech is one of those places we always go to a few times a year and it never disappoints. Hopefully they continue to update the exhibits as they have done and have a ‘fresh’ offering each time we go. I also find Scitech quite affordable compared to some other Perth attractions. Keep up the great work guys!

Scitech really needs a face lift. $19 for entry fee is quite expensive for what is inside. Wouldn’t recommend visiting here to friends

Do Not Go On School Holidays - 1 gigantic day care Center with parents and grandparents.

School holidays ‘Do Not Go! unless you want to kids getting upset re pushing in, taking very short terms turns. It’s like One Large Childcare Centre.but with parents on the floor as well. Nightmare of a day.
