Bella, moderna ma senza anima. Questo è il giudizio riassuntivo che dò della zona di Britomart. La ristrutturazione e la riqualificazione dell’area è sicuramente riuscita ma non ha ancora una sua anima. Lí tutto è nuovo, organizzato, pulito, ma i palazzi sono asettici e i locali anche troppo “fighetti”. Magari col tempo acquisterà un suo alito vitale ma per ora è assente.

There is still a lot of construction going on, but the station is functioning well. For the month of June fares are half price and the maximum daily fare on an AT Hop card is just $10 (rail, bus, ferry).

A Construction zone mixed with pedestrians.

At the present moment, Britomart Precinct looks like a bomb site. There is a huge amount of construction going on. It is quite off-putting. The trains leave from the station below street level. I am a bit put off by construction Which has some years to complete. Allow till mid-2021 before visiting the tiles in the square might be finished.The Americas Cup Base is my preference at Wynyard Quarter.

Great easy to use experience. The helpful & friendly staff from the security guards, information team at the trains & the friendly message from the train manager all made for a great Britomart experience. Cool building too- both inside and out.
