The course was in decent condition, and considering it was drizzling most of the way round, the views were still decent, in more of an eerie way. I found it to be a good test of my ability, with a nice mix of holes, just a shame the weather couldn’t play ball a little bit more! Value for money is about bang on in terms of being in a tourist destination, would happily play here again

Lovely golf course with stunning views of lake almost all the way round. Richard was ever so helpful in the clubhouse sorting out clubs to hire.

Played as a husband and wife two-ball just on the off chance last Sunday morning. Course was empty and the welcome we received was lovely.
In no time we out on the course (initially battling with the hired clubs - well that's my excuse) enjoying fantastic weather and great views of both lake and mountain. We did not see another golfer! The course was not overly long but was interesting and very well kept and maintained. The greens and surrounds were very slow compared to UK but we adapted eventually and had a very enjoyable few hors of golf. Recommended!

Parcours au bord du lac de Te Anau, ça démarre doucement avec les deux premiers trous par 5, le long de la route, puis ensuite on bascule vers la droite et là changement complet de philosophie avec un parcours vallonné et très bien dessiné avec quelques trous très spectaculaires et intéressants. Fairways pas exceptionnels mais corrects avec des greens assez beaux malheureusement le jour où nous l’avons joué ils n’étaient pas tondus dommage !!!!! Points de vues parfois remarquables avec le lac en perpective.
Pour ce qui est des greenfees (45$) c’est la méthode Écossaise, c’est à dire souvent personne au club house, donc on positionne le règlement dans une enveloppe, puis dans l boîte aux lettres, pas de tricheurs en Nouvelle Zélande, si vous voulez une voiturette il y a un numéro de téléphone a appeler. Pour moi nous avons fait 5 parcours et celui ci est dans la top 2.
Remarquable à ne pas manquer dans la région.

Helaas is er in januari geen regen gevallen dus de baan was zo dor als het gat van sinterklaas. De baan ligt wel schitterend met prachtig uitzicht op het meer. Bunkers heb ik niet gezien, maar dat kan aan mijn spel liggen. Fairways mooi breed. Er zijn wel een paar lastige holes bij maar het is goed te belopen. De grens waren wel zoals het moet: green.

Played here as solo player. Was able to hire sticks. Magnificent views of lake Te Anau. Not a particularly challenging course but nevertheless still enjoyable.

We belde Fick op het tel nummer dat op de voordeur geplakt stond. Geen enkel probleem om hier te golfen als gast. We wilde 9 holes doen, dus we betaalde de helft vd greenfee en de helft voor de huur van materiaal. Keurig geregeld. Baan is breed, dus voor ons als redelijke beginners nog perfect. Hoogte verschil en veel bomen zorgt voor de nodige uitdaging. Er zijn 2 holes langs de openbare weg, dan kijk je gewoon even of er geen verkeer is.

Manageable, well maintained course with fabulous views at every turn. Long hitters will have a field day but novice golfers will find a good score achievable too. Course is undulating and punishes (fairly) bad shots. Very friendly members who welcome club golfers from all over the world to join in their competitions. Equipment available for hire. One of the most picturesque courses you are likely to play.

This course is just outside the town with great views of the lake. It has a very small club house that is not always open. From the club house it looks like a very basic and mediocre course. However, as the holes wind up the hill, fantastic views await you. The fairways and greens are very average, so this is not a fancy course by any means. However, there are some challenges. It is a very laid back place., but the views are worth it. A fun way to spend some time between other act in the area.
