Book a table for the cruise - easier to eat a meal if you are having one. I highly recommend that you do have the fish and chips! The commentary was very informative. You can move upstairs for a better view after the meal. One not to miss in beautiful Batemans Bay. The stop at Nelligen is long enough to have a look about and get an ice cream from the lovely people at the shop.

We had a wonderful 3 hour cruise up the Clyde River with a beautiful fish, chip & salad lunch. They accommodated my other half as he is vegetarian and he enjoyed his potato scallops, chips and salad. Stopped at Nelligan for an icecream and then a great cruise back to Batemans Bay. Staff were amazing and skipper was very knowledgeable about the area. Thankyou for a great day!

Checked info on facebook which said cruise goes every day. I am from. Hobart, Tasmania and drove 60 km to go on the cruise to find the boat was not going. Told it was up on the slip at Ulladulla for several days.
They had still put the sign out the front advertising the 3 hour cruise even though it was not happening!! When I mentioned the distance travelled to get there, was told me I should have rang first. I advise anyone planning to do the cruise to ring first so you won't be disappointed.

Excellent scenery and commentary . Fabulous three hours touring up the Clyde river with great info along the way. Our captain was fantastic with her knowledge of the area most informative.

An absolutely delightful way to take a break from walking and shopping for the day. Fully relaxing little cruise, great running narrative of the sights along the river and hisotry of the area from the captain. Absolutely delicious lunch of fresh fish, chips and salad. The crew were magnificent. The only downside was we were there on a day with a totally full boat and had loud folks on either side who wanted to chat about all their other experiences to their table mates and not pay attention to THIS experience - made it difficult to hear the captain's information at times. Regardless, I would gladly do this again and highly recommend it.

This is a delightful way to enjoy some of Batemans Bay's beautiful scenery. These cruises have been operating for many years and the program runs like clockwork. A lunch box of fresh fish and chips with salad is served promptly after heading off. The commentary continues while you glide up the Clyde to a perfectly timed stop for an ice cream in pretty Nelligen. The commentary ceases on the return leg and there is time to enjoy a tea/coffee or a drink from the bar. Arrival back at the wharf is at exactly 230pm. We had international visitors with us and they could not have been more pleased with this outing. Highly recommended if you have people staying with you.

This is good value. It’s a pleasant little cruise and the lunch is lovely too. The whole thing is well organised and we’ll run. It’s very relaxing and a nice way to spend a few hours in the region.

This daily lunch cruise has been running for over 30 years and is one of the staple attractions at Batemans Bay.
The ferry leaves at about 11.30 and after a quick run up to the mouth of the Clyde River returns to pick up lunch, a tray of freshly cooked fish ,chips and salad. The journey up the river is interesting with great commentary from the captain and a ready supply of drinks ( tea or coffee or you can purchase soft drinks or something from the selection of wine and beers) from the crew member. The turn around point is Nelligan an old timber town nestled in the hills behind BatemansBay where you can have a short walk around the time and purchase some great ice cream at the cafe.
At $50 each and lasting about 3 hours this was a great little trip and would highly recommend it to young and old.

Pleasant scenic river cruise...a full boat today!
The commentary was inaudible due to a poor p.a. system and the constant chatter of other passengers, and we could not disembark at Nellingen due to jetty repairs there, but lunch was very good and crew friendly and helpful. Recommended :)

We pre booked and it was $48 for an adult, $45 for seniors, $22 for kids (5-14)

it costs $49 per adult, includes a 30 minute stop half way point. Fish and chip lunch included.

There’s an email and mobile on the visitnsw page for Merindi Cruises but neither garnered a response when I used them. In the end we just turned up to the boatshed (fish and chip shop) on the day and paid at the cashier. You board from the pier right next to the boatshed. I can’t remember the exact cost but I think it was around $70 for 3 of us including lunch (which is optional).
