good relaxing place to walk around and see native plants... however, doesn't seem to be "complete" to our expectations...

Came here for the cafe to have lunch with family members. It was a tranquil and peaceful setting. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. A great meeting spot. Afterwards we could wander down to the play area for kids. It has good disability access and grandma was able to use her walker all along the paths. Glad that the place is on the road to recovery again after the bushfires.

We enjoyed it here. It’s still recovering from major bushfires in 2019 but it’s still well worth a visit, especially to get your daily steps up on the well marked paths. There are some nice trees, shrubs and other plants and some lovely wetlands. Altogether it’s a very peaceful spot. The cafe here - Mossy on Gardens - is wonderful in its own right - the coffee and food are excellent - and the gift shop is terrific too.

We stopped in at the Botanical Gardens whilst staying at Batemans Bay. There is a cafe where you can sit down to have lunch or breakfast or you can grab a takeaway coffee whilst you walk around the gardens.
The ground is flat so it is an easy walk and a lot of the plants had name tags.
There is also a children’s playground for the young ones.
There is no entry fee and plenty of parking available.
Well worth the visit 👍

Easy Disability parking, great disability access and friendly staff.
Walking areas that for are great for wheelchair access but hard after rain but that’s expected.
Food was fantastic, very large meals if you are a small eater, very beautiful and hot.

Lovely gardens to stroll around. So much work has been done to bring the Gardens back to life and open to visitors after the 2019-20 bushfires. Excellent little shop and the café is worth a visit.

We were totally surprised at what this 'garden' offered. At times it felf like we were walking through the bush, not a garden. Throughly enjoyed the visit

This place is truly amazing! I really enjoyed all the walks. There were five different ones and there was even wildlife! I saw Kangaroos and some different types of birds. It's amazing how the trees managed to regenerate after the devastating bush fires. I really enjoyed this place!
And the cafe was also really nice. There were fresh baked scones with cream and jam! The visit was very memorable.

Exceptional regrowth in an area that was completely devastated during the fires. The area has regrown and plants that were lost have been replaced. Even the kangaroos are back.
The food and staff at the Cafe are awesome. The beef and bacon patty open burger was delicious. Thank you!.

Upon arriving we grabbed one of the trail maps available and headed off. We managed to walk almost each trail in the time we were there. My son loved the playground available. We didn't go into the café attached, but they were quiet busy so it's seems to be a great spot to have a drink and bite at.
