We visited for an ordination service. This was quite special. A truly wonderul place which will provide a historic window to the past. YMMV

St Saviour Cathedral is named for Jesus Christ in his invocation as saviour. Building began in 1839 but was not complted until 1989. The Catedral is the Cathedral Church for Goulburn and Canberra. St Saviour is Heritage listed. It has a tower, which was included in the original plan, but not added until the 1980s. Although it is a beautiful church, it can not be properly called neo Gothic.

This Church is amazing. We had a lovely man give us a tour of this gorgeous old building. Beautiful leadlight windows and old piped organ.

beautiful historic cathedral. highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. Lots of items to admire and see. A must see if you visit the area

All the times I've been to Goulburn and never knew this place existed until today. Will definitely be returning for a proper look and highly recommend a visit.

Met at the door by a lovely chap who guided me about the Cathedral, very interesting place, and he knew some amazing facts. Its quite amazing, the stained glass is so beautiful

I attended Sunday Communion Service on 17th March.
The service was very moving in a historic building.
The dean gave a very thoughtful service integrating remembering the victims of the mosque shooting in Christchurch

This cathedral is a magnificent piece of colonial architecture with its high vaulted ceilings and beautiful stained glass windows. Well worth a visit when in Goulburn as its just off the main road and easy to see.

A stunning building worth a look at. Go to a service if you like a traditional Anglican service. Take your winter woolies though because the place is freezing cold.
