We went there twice, on visit 2 we had the whole beach to ourselves. The water was nicer in June than Melbourne beaches in summer. A very nice beach with fine sands and some nice rocky areas for exploring.

We went to the look out and were able to see several whales heading north to the warmer waters. It is a great spot for photos.

This was a stunning beach south of Port Macquarie and by far the longest around and the views were excellent from the lighthouse.

Lighthouse Beach is located below Tacking Point Lighthouse approximately 7kms from Port Macquarie. The 9km long elongated beach is a favourite local beach due to its protection from the north easterly winds.
