Can only give a one star rating as this Chinese junk is currently not in service and is in dry dock for repairs and maintenance.
It will hopefully be back in the water sometime after Easter 2019. Please check with the maritime museum or the information centre for updates.

Kick back and relax on this quirky boat . Bring along a drink or 2 and cruise the Hastings with the dolphins . Get there a bit early and get up the back on all the cushions for total comfort. Cheaper than therapy better than sedatives

A very pleasant way to watch the sun go down in Port, on an old Chinese Junk on the river. The boat’s captain gave a pleasant and informative commentary during the cruise and pointed out various riverside locations and historical places. Just three couples on board so very pleasant and able to move around to take photos.

Beautiful couple of hours on the river. Boat was a bit crowded. Could do better with the cake served with tea and coffee, stale and nasty.

Our family went of the cruise up the Hasting river, we had a lovely relaxing time. Our "driver" was very welcoming and informative - & it felt as if she really enjoyed doing what she was doing. We were lucky to see a an Ocean osprey & some dolphins - we were able to stay & look for a while - which was great. The commentary throughout the cruise was entertaining. I liked the fact you could bring your own nibbles & drinks. All the family liked the cruise. I think that the child rate could be decreased a little bit - to help with families costs.

My partner and me went for a 2 hour afternoon cruise on the Chinese Junk and had an enjoyable experience with an interesting skipper who gave us plenty of historical information. Pleasant afternoon.

A very relaxing and enjoyable cruise on the Hastings River on a classic, genuine Chinese junk. The
Captain was most capable and very entertaining with his commentary of both history and points of interest.
Highly recommended if visiting Port.

Went on the Junk boat cruise around Port Macquarie area. $25 for an adult. 2 hr cruise. fee includes tea,coffee and cake. Capt talks about Port Macquarie history. Very interesting but definitely not worth $25 per head.
