Such a beautiful day for a horse ride. The staff were experienced and friendly and the horse I rode was so lovely. His name was Angus and headed off onto a lovely trail ride and saw him wildlife along the way. Was a very enjoyable experience and will happily do again next time in port macquarie. Day finished off with lunch and bubbles at the vineyard restaurant.

We went on the 90min trail ride with 5 ppl. We had Scruffy, Polly, Betty, Stretch and Winter. All lovely mannered horses. All of the ladies were great too!

We've like to come to ride as a family when we visit Port. Just recently due to covid we needed to cancel. Angela was immediately understanding that it was unforeseen circumstances and kindly was able to refund our booking. Much appreciated as cancelling the entire trip overall was disappointing. We will be back again for sure, it's a great experience for the kids. Such a professional business to show such kindness during unprecedented times. Would highly recommend a visit. Such a lovely setting!

Couple of families took a trail ride, could have walk the path faster without the horses.
Had to keep in single file while the slowest horse is walked in the front.
The kids had all spent the day on a holiday camp to get some experience before the trail ride, a total waste of time if they were hoping to learn how to ride.
Scenery and bush land was pleasant, but unless you have never risen a horse before and want to experience a slow walk on one, would certainly not waste my time or money here.

Today I enjoyed my horse ride on Jug. We very nice horse. We did some work in the arena and then went on a short trail ride. Fantastic. The horses are well looked after and the staff are friendly & helpful. I have been here many times and I always ride here when I am in Port. Thank you to Hillary who took me out on the ride today. See you next time.

I have taken my grandchildren on three occasions to this riding establishment. The management and staff operate a very professional business, with a duty of care shown towards both the rider and the horse. Horses are selected for the rider in accordance with riding ability and experience. This is meticulously done. A briefing on riding technique is provided before mounting and practice in the arena is given before venturing out. For well experienced riders this also can be an opportunity to trot and canter. However, once the ride begins it is a trail ride where the horses walk single file. There is some great scenery along the ride and you may be lucky to catch a glimpse of wildlife. It is costly, however a memorable experience. The horses are well trained and beautiful. It is obvious that they are extremely well cared for and loved.

The actual horse ride was a great experience. We were planning to book at Bellrowan horse riding centre but it was closed the week we were there. Finding this place, my partner and I went on a 2 hour trail ride.It was just the two of us plus two guides (we did not book a private ride). The horses were (Decently) well behaved and we enjoyed it. However, the guides did not come across as very friendly, they didn't attempt to initiate conversation, so it was a quiet ride.
The booking process should be alot easier than it currently is in this day and age, as you really only can call to book. We got a text reminder a day or so before, but it only had the date and not the time of the ride (?) which was unusual.
This centre wouldn't be my first recommendation for a horse riding experience.

We booked our experience less than a week before arriving in Port Macquarie for the Australia day long weekend. We were given proper helmets, instructions and it was so relaxing to sit on well trained horses who clearly knew their trails. An hour long trail through the woods and trees, it was an unforgettable experience as four of us with horses followed each other.

What a wonderful horse ride along the North Shore beach. It was fun getting rhe ferry across and went to Coal Wharf Reserve it was our meeting point. The ride is great as they have a small group and we could enjoy being on the beach. What a wonderful way to enjoy Saturday morning. The horses are lovely. This was my first time I have ridden here, All the rides I have done is at the Winery. I would do this again. .

My mum and I went a on a beach ride and had an amazing time. Lots of fun, our guide was really nice and considerate, asking if we were having a good time and what we wanted to do. Both my mum and I are decent riders. We trotted and cantered on the beach and in the water. Loved the horses and the guide, great ride would recommend especially for medium to advanced riders.

Is an option available for solo travellers? Or a way to book into a group as a solo person?
I want to bring a14 year old girl. no exspirance with horses. Has rode a camel and donkey. Just want to bring her out to have a ride. Don't think she need to be led but just a quick ride. Half hour or hr. What you suggest. And how much. W.end
