A well maintained track that is great for a walk, run, ride. The track actually goes from Port Kembla to Thirroul - another 10kms further south if you'd like a 50k bike ride!

We only did part of the bike track, it is well maintained and clearly marked, the view over the ocean is good to look at.

We love walking or riding this bike track when we are in the Wollongong area. It’s nice to ride/walk near the beach for a lot of the way with some great scenery along the way.

This is a GREAT track. Simple, Safe with minimum of road crossings. Easy grades. I rode from Austinmer to Stuart Park and back. One bridge at Thirroul is currently under reconstruction, and the bypass is poorly labelled, requiring guess work to find. In spring, watch for magpies at Woonona, but the danger area is well signposted.

This is nice if you want a very relaxed cycle or walk. Unfortunately a lot of pedestrians don't have any respect for the fact that it is a shared cycle way . walking and taking up the whole path deliberately not moving to let bikes through even when I rang my bell. I did not do this is an aggressive way and I simply got ignored. Some people also let their kids run all over the track.

Great place for a walk.
My dad and I have been frequenting the track as of late to take a nice walk by the beach. Its a great track to walk for some exercise with some beautiful views and a few places to stop and eat or get a drink. I enjoy starting from Sandon point and walking through Bulli, that has been my most enjoyable walk so far.

Can be busy but well worth the ride, skate or roller blade along this coastal path with most of the trip with an ocean view, well marked lanes and maintained path

A mostly easy ride, with few road crossings, and the highlight being the view! The path can get crowded with other cyclists and lots of walkers, but there is a relaxed feel and that isn't a problem.

This is one of those bike rides that offers endless things to look at and do along its length.A flat ride that suits all ages can handle with beaches,sea pools and picnic spots along its path.

I've lived in the country, so I can well imagine the 'Gong to Thirroul bike riding track would be a major reason for choosing to holiday here. A well laid out track hugging the coast with fabulous views of the ocean and escarpment. Adequate toilet availability, coffee places, plenty of benches to sit and do nothing (reading, music, chatting?) eateries and only tiny hills. BBQ facilities in several places. Swimming is an option and play areas for the kids. Great was to spend the day.
