Despite website advice that this attraction is “always open” that was not the case when we visited in June 2022. I have not been able to find any advice as to why it is closed or when it might re-open but the access road is barricaded and entry is obviously prohibited. So our rating of “terrible” is not a reflection on the attraction itself, but rather on the poor communication of closure.

You can no longer see this from land as they have closed the road. I don’t know if this is temporary but we did see it - by 12 Apostles Helicopters and it was unique and interesting. So jump on a flight to see the wonderful features of the coast

Pretty much as the attraction states....an arch. Path is a tad narrow and steep in places, but worth the fairly short walk down to have a look at the arch. Parking is limited.

The Arch is quite easy to find. If you are heading westerly it's only about 10 or so minutes past Port Campbell. The signs are easy to spot. If you are coming the other way it's only a few minutes past London Bridge. The car park was of a decent size, not as big as some of the more famous attractions but bigger than at the smaller attractions.
It's not the kind of place that I think many daytrippers would visit, overnighters may skip it, too. It's perhaps not quite as impressive as some of its neighbours, but it is certainly worth stopping to have a look if you are in the vicinity.
There's a short path to some steps down to a viewing platform. You get a couple of sights of it but the best spot is at the end of the steps. It wasn't too strenuous.
I didn't stay very long. Just had a look, took a picture, it's very photogenic, and continued on my way. I'm glad I stopped there, though.

The Arch perches precariously mounted on a harder rock platform. In large swells its formation becomes more evident as waves mount the platform, thick heavy tomes gliding sleekly through the opening and cascading out the other side. We weren't to experience that on the day we stopped. I waited to see the waves crash...but alas there was nothing that spectacularly jumped out.
Nevertheless, it's another wonderful place to stop along the Great Ocean Road to appreciate the majestic views.

fra Port Campbell e Warrnambool ci sono numerosi parcheggi per altrettanti viewpoints. Sono tutti da vedere, ogni faraglione o arco o scogliera ha caratteristiche particolari. The Arch è una formazione rocciosa scavata dall'acqua fino alla formazione di un arco. Molto bella, come tutta la zona. Visitato 09.16

Another great point on the Great Ocean Road to just stop and wonder at this magnificent coastline.
Fantastic paths to a well maintained lookout point.

Es gibt verschiedene Lookouts mit Blickperspektiven auf den Bogen und die Felsformationen. Man kann auch über Treppen zum Strand hinabsteigen. Dort gibt es auch eine Höhle. Am Abend war es dort relativ ruhig und nicht überlaufen. Tagsüber scheint es mittlerweile dramatisch voll zu sein, darauf lassen jedenfalls die vielen Absperrgitter schließen, die überall an der Straße aufgestellt sind. Bei den Aposteln war der Parkplatz auch am Abend sogar noch gerammelt voll!! Wer noch nie da war, sollte seinen Besuch zeitlich gut planen.
