Entrelenguas’s cooking in the vineyard was the best experience we had during our entire trip to Spain! The food was excellent (best paella!!), the wines were good, and the knowledge of the staff regarding the local ingredients, wines, and farm to table concept was incredible. Sad we did not have time to do more excursions with them!! Also—the view is spectacular!

I feel so fortunate to have found Entrelenguas while searching online for a cooking class in Ronda. We were sceptical on booking another cooking class due to a mediocre experience in France but Gillie exceeded all expectations.
We started at the main location-which I must say was a bit challenging to find , particularly because we had to find parking. After a phone call to gain verbal instructions we managed to find the office. We were then led by Harry -who provided us with some local tips and recommendations-as we made our way to Gillies house. My husband and I do not speak Spanish so Harry helped as our interpreter. From the moment we entered the house we were made to feel at home. To be in Gillie’s kitchen and learn how to cook amazing traditional Spanish food with her as our guide was such a delight. A memory that will not be forgotten. Thank-you Gillie and Harry for a wonderful experience.

My London based language and cultural community Battersea Spanish hooked up with Entrelengas for three days. We were a group of 16 people, all learning the Spanish language. We were welcomed into the school (a beautiful building with fantastic views and a lovely garden) and were able to enjoy a variety of activities including a guided tour around Ronda given by Alex, a very knowledgeable local who showed us all the hidden corners; a cooking class and wine tasting in the actual vineyard where the grapes were grown and with incredible views of the bridge and town above and a another hike with picnic into the surrounding countryside. All the staff (Alex, Javier and Mar) at Entrelengas are a delight and encouraged us to speak Spanish throughout our adventure there. We also stayed with local families and enjoyed their hospitality while practising the language. I cannot recommend the experience highly enough.

An absolutely fantastic authentic cooking class with Javier and Alex in a vineyard with superb views of Ronda. We made ajo blanco and paella and got to taste the wines on offer. What a thoroughly fantastic pair of hosts they were and this was the highlight of our two week tour around Spain. Highly recommended!

Cannot say enough great things about Entrelenguas. My husband and I did the Cooking in a Vineyard experience with Javier and Alex and had an incredible experience. No one else happened to have signed up for that evening, so it was just the four of us. Javier and Alex were wonderful hosts, very personable and open and fun to be around. They told us about living in Ronda and other parts of Spain, and gave great recommendations for the area.
The vineyard itself is in the coolest location right below the main bridge in Ronda, and the cooking class takes place right on location. Not only was it the most picturesque place, but the food we made was INCREDIBLE! The wine was incredible, the sunset was incredible. Again, no enough nice things.
If this tour is at all representative of their work in general, then anything you sign up to do with Entrelenguas will be awesome. Thanks, guys!

Super activité avec une équipe de choc ! J’avais entendu parler d’Entrelenguas par une amis, et je ne regrette pas de les avoir contacté quand je suis allé passer une semaine à Ronda pour découvrir l’Andalousie et suivre des cours intensifs ! Et quelle surprise ! Ne vous attendez pas à une ambiance scolaire, mais à des échanges chaleureux et à une pédagogie unique, qui m’a vraiment fait me sentir à l’aise et confiant. Je n’avais pas peur de parler espagnol avec des locaux, pas peur de me tromper et surtout je pouvais compter sur Mar notre professeur pour me corriger à tout moment. Satané subjonctif ! Ayant eu plus de temps libre que ce à qui je m’attendais, j’ai décidé de faire une des activités qu’Entrelenguas propose.
J’ai eu l’occasion de faire le cours de cuisine dans le vignoble avec Entrelenguas pendant le mois de juin (avant qu’il ne fasse trop chaud !) et que dire à part que ça a été un moment formidable. L’endroit est magnifique, l’ambiance plus que détendue, et nos « guides » très sympathiques ! En réalité ils se sont occupés de nous comme des « amis locaux » le feraient, et je dirais que c’est ce qui fait toute la différence d’Entrelenguas !
Je ne recherchais pas d’activité « mainstream », et ce cours de cuisine dans une ambiance chaleureuse m’a énormément plu ! Je recommanderais le « cooking in the vineyard » à tout le monde car ça ne requiert pas de connaissances en cuisine particulières (je suis loin d’être un chef moi même..). En bref, foncez !

I spent a couple weeks at Entrelenguas taking part in one of their intensive Spanish course. They were brilliant. The teachers are really nice and I found it very helpful to be taught by a Spanish native speaker. Not only that but the environment at Entrelenguas is beautiful. They have a lovely terrace where we sometimes had our lessons and it overlooks the surrounding hills. Just beautiful. During my stay, there was a language exchange barbecue one evening. I felt very lucky because these don't happen very often. This was the highlight of my stay as I got to speak to so many native Spanish speakers, because Ronda locals were also invited. Entrelenguas suggested topics to get the conversations started and half the conversations were in English and half in Spanish. This was great as I got to learn some Spanish and also help people with their English. It was very chilled and well organised. I didn't feel any pressure to speak 100% correct Spanish and I spoke so much. Also the food afterwards was amazing. I would obviously recommend that everyone goes to Entrelenguas, but especially if they have an event like this on during your time in Ronda.

We had truly amazing time on our cooking class. Such a good, relaxing experience that I would recommend to anyone, whether you travel alone or with somebody else. We got to learn how to cook a traditional meal in the company of a glass of wine, looking at the lovely views of Ronda near the vineyard. It is so nice to see people who are so engaged in the local community, promoting sustainable tourism and being so knowledgeable about the place and its products.

We spent a week in Ronda - their tours are fun and give a wonderful local peek at the culture and secret spots of this town. Cooking paella in an organic vineyard and visiting an organic olive oil farm was magnificent. It was yummy and educational!

In just a few hours, Alex gave us a great insider’s view of Ronda. I love Ronda, but it gets crazy-crowded in the middle of the day. Alex managed to keep us away from the crowds, with visits to foodie places popular with the locals, a visit to the Arab baths (so awesome!), and walks along the best less-frequented routes. Value-for-money was amazing. I can’t believe how much we ate and drank, not to mention what we learned from Alex’s low-key, well-informed guidance.
