Depends on the weather. You definitely need good walking shoes. You will be walking for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. In March my friend was cold and needed a winter jacket. Summer jeans or shorts with a light top should be good.

The old town tour. You meet in the old town square at 10am. They carry yellow umbrellas. The tour is between 2 to 2 1/2 hours. You do not have to sign up for the tour, just show up before 10am. They have several languages. The Prague castle tour is outside the main gate of the castle. It also starts at 10am. It is by the Yellow Hop on Hop off castle stop. It is also about 2 hours. Hope this helps. Prague is a beautiful city.

Check out there website company is called newpraguetours or ask at your hotel reception. I signed up for the tour there. Their office is close to the old town squire. If you face the astrological clock look directly to your right you will see the double towers of an old church walk that way walk down walkway on the right side of the church. On your right handside you will pass a couple of alley ways with businesses down them look for sign at main entrance to alleyway. Hope this helps. Enjoy your time in Prague.

Hi - the free tour we took was at the beginning of old Jewish ghetto - corner Pariska (Paris street) and Old Town Main Square - the one we went to was at 2 p.m. Enjoy !
