Well worth a visit for a drink or just to enjoy the atmosphere. The architects did a great job in renovating those abandonned brick building and introducung metal sculptures, graffitis and trees.

... and also green areas, lots of seating, a variety of coffee houses, pubs, boutiques, galleries and other commercial buildings... nice atmosphere.
The many, mainly younger people sit here with their smartphones and enjoy the slightly spruced-up atmosphere.
The price is above the level you have to pay for drinks and snacks - for example on Piotrkowska - but people know how to get by. People timidly sip fruit juice and the chips and crisps lying on plates... are only consumed very slowly. In many cases it is self-service here, but even in the restaurants with service the waiters do not rush over immediately when a glass is empty. You see some people sitting for hours without having consumed anything.
During our visit in late summer the crowds were very lively. People come and go in quick succession. Despite our advanced age, we felt very comfortable.
Conclusion: For someone who is visiting this beautiful city of Łódź for the first time and just wants to get a taste of their destination, this is a good starting point for further exploration.

Absolutely amazing place. Some say, Lodz is a Polish Manchester and I totally agree. Lots of cafes, restaurants and shops in a unique surrounding of old textile factories. A must-visit!

Miejsce z pomysłem niby bez zbytniego zadęcia ale jednak dość nonszalanckie. Mnie tonie przeszkadza. Byłam w lecie i teraz w zimie. Warto wpaść i zrobić zakupy w "Pan tu nie stał", zjeść w którejś z wielu knajp. Pobyć. OFF.

Łódź is a city full of contrasts. On one hand, we have the Piotrkowska street that is the major public project aimed at visitors - and is as polished as it gets. On the other, there are neglected tenement houses and alleys at every turn, and the number of bums per square kilometer is much higher than an outsider might expect. This place fits well with the city's atmosphere. Very chaotic, but vibrant and giving the opportunity to drink a good coffee or eat something less typical on a deckchair. Recommended not only for youth.
