We visited this bar twice on our recent trip to Budapest. The first night was a Wednesday and we really enjoyed our visit. It was a small but friendly crowd and the owner was welcoming. What was going to be a quick night cap ended up being 4 night caps. A lot of fun. There were a few rums to choose from but not as many as listed in the drinks card.
The second visit was on Saturday and was a completely different experience. This time there was a different owner there who was drunk when we arrived. The two waitresses looked uncomfortable around him and one appeared to leave before her shift was over as she went outside in her coat and didn’t reappear.
We ordered our 2 rums (there was a smaller selection as they hadn’t restocked from then other night) and almost immediately the owner started talking to me but it was hard to understand him as he was slurring his words. He offered me a shot of his own gin he was working through and soon after a shot of rum (only me not my wife). We decided not to stay and asked to pay. We were told the drinks were all on him (I think he forgot we ordered our own).
If you are lucky and get the first owner it’s a great bar. If not then it isn’t !

Petit mais vrai bar à cocktails , presque intime, decouvert par hasard.
Les cocktails sont préparés avec minutie. Ils sont bons sans être exceptionnels. Et la présentation n’est pas incroyable
Et les prix supérieurs à la moyenne constatée à Budapest dans des endroits similaires.
Ça reste très sympa à découvrir.

Stumbled upon this cozy bar and decided to go in for a drink. Boy it was a good decision since the bartender was generous with the drinks - the alchohol that goes into the coctail, as well as the welcome drink, we got a tasting of Hungarian local palinka. They seem to know their spirits, so if you are looking for a place where to grab your drinks, this is it.

We had some really great cocktails here. These guys know what they are doing. It’s a small place, maybe 12 stools or so, and expect the drinks to take a few mins to be made. But they are super great. Very much recommended.

Service and attitude of stuff was more than rude . Two bartenders :one of them was very drunk doing nothing just taking the cocktails we even didn’t finish. The other just in the middle of preparing a cocktail for us forgot about it. Maybe they just don’ like tourists , cause with the locals they were nice

мне понравилось - авторский коктейль на основе моих вводных и ненавязчива беседа)) для меня достаточно атмосферно, хороший алкоголь и приятный вечер) внимание к деталям и творческий процесс по созданию коктейля впечатлили

Came here following a friends recommendation and wasnt disappointed. While prices are definitely on the higher side drinks are more than worth it as the bartenders clearly know what they are doing. Ended up leaving with a far lighter wallet but a way bigger smile.
