Jeg dro til Óbuda for å se dette lokalhistoriske museet. Jeg ble skuffet, fordi museet var stengt. Det sto en lapp utenfor porten uten at det ble forklart hvor lenge museet holder stengt. Like i nærheten er det to andre museer, men det var ikke mye liv der heller. Jeg tok bilde av det lokalhistoriske museet, Rådhusplassen som kalles Főtér og noen andre fine gamle bygninger. Huset med den gule overdelen er det stengte museet.

Mi spiace ma un museo dove non possono fare foto non mi piace.....perde metà del suo fascino..... Sono 3 mostre storica, porcellane e giocattoli...ma a me non è rimasto molto...senza foto

オーブダ島の西側に出かけた時に立ち寄りました。ヘブ５番のSzentlélek tér駅で降りてすぐ近くにヴァザリー美術館があり、その次にオーブダ美術館、その北にカッシャーク美術館が並んでいました。

I went to this museum mainly to see their toy exhibit, which was excellent. I learned a lot about Hungarian toys through the ages, but also timeless toys that made their way across the pond (Matchbox cars, Steiff stuffed animals, paper dolls and Anker stone blocks). The downstairs exhibit on Obuda was interesting, though that material could also be seen at Aquincum Roman Museum up the street and the History Museum of Budapest on Castle Hill in Buda. I liked the toy exhibit best, but to each his own. I suggest this museum to anyone in Obuda - walking distance from the train station

A lovely little museum on the Main Square. They have a permanent exhibition, the three faces of Óbuda, and the history of the play,"Play in the City" joined in 2016 to it. I did not look at latter one because the games do not belong to my field of interest. Allegedly it is fascinating. There, I would have been allowed to take photos, but not at the local history exhibition where I could only shoot a couple of pictures with the "risk of my life." When I entered, I thought I was lost, and I was on the game history show. Because of the excitement of cheerful children's sounds. But no, I was in the right place. The museum, very smartly, thought of young visitors as well. In one box, a piece of pottery was broken to pieces, and young or not that young visitors had to put the original pot together. I left the family to try their restoration talent and walked on. Otherwise, in this first room, fragments of sculptures and ornaments of a long gone monastery were exhibited. For me, the most exciting was the second room where we could glimpse the world below us through a glass floor. The ruins of a building flattened beneath the floor, and through an arch I could guess, a tunnel is going somewhere, but only the exploration archaeologists could see the continuation of the road.
Later there was a room showing the vineyard and the necessary tools, then a contemporary grocery store and a tiny kitchen that fitted into the original old houses. The exhibition of kitchen tools looked like a showroom in the Museum of Trade and Tourism. Interesting old photos are showing how Óbuda looked like 60-70 years ago.
The museum times to times provides exciting programs to the visitors.
