Not taking reservations into consideration

I booked my tickets in advance but the seats were not saved for us on the bus.
It seems they don’t have an idea if tickets are booked online and they are selling tickets outside to fill the bus.
I planned my entire day based on the hour I booked the tour but when I arrived, 10 min before departure there was no place on the bus.
The employees didn’t really care and rushed us to leave the bus so they can leave on time and told us to take the next ride. It was a terrible experience for my 5 year old who was so excited and didn’t want to leave.
Other than that, it’s a nice ride but it’s very hot inside the bus during the trip to a point it’s too much. I would skip it, especially if you have done a boat tour in the city, there’s nothing unusual about the experience, I would recommend it only for kids.

Interesting experience

We booked the short version of RiverRide trip (approx 1h20min). The guide Yolanda was OK, given information in English, German and Hungarian. The audio in the bus could be better, as we didn't understand everything she said. River ride was very short, we only drove on Danube for 15-20 minutes, I wish we would go to The Parliament at least.

אחלה חוויה עם ילדים

חוויה שהיא חובה - נסענו עם שני ילדים (10+14) באוטובוס שהופך לסירה ונוסע ברחבי העיר ובנוסף שט בתוך הדנובה. באוטובוס יש מערכת הסבר אלקטרונית שמתחברים אליה עם אוזניות ויש ערוץ בעברית כך שהילדים לא משתעממים. אחלה סיור, במיוחד הקטע שהאוטובוס נכנס לתוך הנהר :-) שעה וחצי של בילוי כייפי ומהנה!

Veramente divertente! Abbiamo effettuato un tour corto che dura circa un'ora, abbiamo girato la città con l'audio guida in italiano e oltre alle solite noiose spiegazioni elencavano anche un sacco di curiosi aneddoti su Budapest, poi lo splash! Veramente emozionante!!!! Purtroppo è poco pubblicizzato e per trovare il luogo di partenza non è stato semplice, praticamente il bus parte solo in due orari( tutti i giorni tranne il giovedi) ma fino a quell'ora nulla indica la fermata, quindi il mio consiglio è di andare mezz'ora prima e non di più, i biglietti si fanno al momento direttamente al autista o alla guida.il prezzo del tour corto è di 15€ a testa. Esperienza unica!!!!

Interneten előre meg kell venni a jegyet, mert szerencsére sokan kipróbálják. Árak szerintem rendben vannak, igazán egyedi élmény. Itt nincs mit mondani, ez kacsabusz!

Vi tar om turen nästa år

Kommer definitivt att ta om turen. Oturen var framme och ene båtmotorn gick inte igång, så efter att ha fått landturen uteblev del två, som vi med vänner var mest intresserade av, att få åka buss i Donau. Besättningen tog beslutet att inte riskera vår säkerhet och körde tillbaka till startpunkten. På plats erbjöds vi en annan tur efter att ha reparerat båtmotorn samma eftermiddag. Tyvärr kunde inte motorn repareras, så man fick tillbaka hela summan. Trevlig, rådig personal. Hatten av.

At the moment the water level of Danube is pretty high and the flow is strong, so we were unsure whether we can make the trip. Luckily the boat-bus is strong enough to manage this circumstance. We had a nice trip through Andrássy Street to Heroes square, and besides the Zoo till the river. Sightseeing part was interesting, with great stories about Hungarian history. Cruising in the river is a funny experience. People are way more closer to the water than is larger sightseeing ship, which results a closer experience with Danube. The bus itself is an attraction, a lot of by-passer looked at the strange vehicle. :-)

Es ist zwar eine schöne Route aber der Bus hat leider keine gut funktionierende Klimaanlage. Bei 32 Grad Außentemperaturen war innen entweder die Heizung an oder durch den Motor sehr heiß. Leider machte mein Kreislauf dabei schlapp. Trotzdem war niemand bemüht mir zu helfen von der Crew.
