Swimming among water lilies is a special experience. The water is pleasantly warm and clean. The swimming pool is also well arranged and gives a feeling of comfort and relaxation. The catering offer could be better.

Come winter and summer

Unique thermal lake in the world, in winter the outside part temperature is for swimming only, but under the house it still fantastic. Have a floating device, and let relax in the deep(!) warm water the extend your body.
Showers are a bit outdated. I had a professional massage as well.

Spot on, especially in winter time. Water is still nicely worm, while air below zero degrees. I'd recommend to buy or rent (cash only) some floating devices even if you are good swimmer, to get some comfortable doing-nothing time :) the place itself is bit early 2000, but clean enough with some nice saunas inside too. If you need parking place, you're going to need some cash too. Communication in English is bit complicated, but Hey... you're not in UK, right ? :)

Pricey, from accommodation, food and other services. Everything is overpriced. Nobody speaks English there, you can not communicate. Service horrible , dirty facility.

Once in a lifetime experience

Well my title is a bot of a lie, because I keep going back. There is no experience like it in the world. Swimming in a lake as warm as bath water in the middle of summer or winter ( a bit cooler in winter). I travel around Hungary to visit the thermals, and there is no experience quite like this. Tranquil surrounds by trees, and birds, frogs and if the lily flowers are blooming all the better. Good time summer or winter. Definitely rent a "pool noodle" to put around your torso for a more relaxed experience bathing in the warm healing waters

Det är en underbar anläggning. Jag bor bara 28 kilometer från sjön. Och jag kan väl säja så mycket att min värk lindras bara av att bada, och även min svåra astma blir bättre där., Det måste vara något i ångorna från vattnet som lindrar. Helt klart värt ett besök, Sen är ju även omgivningarna otroligt fina.

Relaxing swim in warm water. Reserve at least 4 hours. The massaging bath inside has always some lines, at least 30 mins, but worth it.

Very good and healthy by thermal lake Hévíz

For Hungarians, magyaroknak! Nyugdíjasoknak, de a munkában megfáradt középkorúaknak is ajánlom a pompás Hévízen a gyógyvízű lebegést (lehet akár biztonságosabb úszóval is). Mozgásszervi nyavalyákra beváltak a hetes kúrák, számunkra ( hetvenes igényes házaspár) már pár nap után is érezhetően javultak a bőrproblémáink, a hangulatunk. A virágos városban tisztaság van, egy kisbusz óránként körbevisz, számos különböző kategóriájú hotel, panzió, éttermek kínálatából lehet válogatni... Ősszel is remek: aki kipróbálta - visszatér !

Der Thermalsee ist traumhaft schön. Das Bad dazu ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen aber das warme Wasser entschädigt dies. Was es allerdings nicht entschädigt ist das unfreundliche Personal dass sich weigerte, mir mein Geld für den Patkautomaten zu wechseln da der einer anderen Firma gehört.
Das Bad ist im Nirgendwo, kein Geschäft weit und breit! Danke nochmal!
