A beautiful church with beautiful paintings on the interiors. Not very obvious at first look but can be found. Happen to chance upon it on the way.

Beautiful Orthodox Church in Tallinn Old Town. It’s not very spectacular outside, you can notice Russian style, but it’s beautiful decorated inside, No fees for visiting inside, so don’t hesitate.

Unlike the Aleksander Nevski Cathedral, this Orthodox place of worship does not stand on top of a hill but is located in one of the least traveled by tourists in one of the longest streets of the old city. The interior is small but also for this reason the atmosphere is more intensely spiritual than other similar buildings, with its many icons placed close to each other. It deserves a quick visit.

A very large somewhat modern Orthodox church, exterior in colors of yellow and cream. Pretty church yard. it was locked up when we visited, open only for church services, so check a schedule.

The external appearance doesn't really recall an Orthodox church but upon entering you immediately find yourself in that atmosphere: icons of the Madonna wearing silver clothes and various saints fill the space. Church used for worship so confidentiality is required when visiting it

The church was built 1820 - 1827. Very stylish to look at from the outside. Inside, the church is known to contain the remains of Metropolitan Arseny. A Russian Archbishop
who died in captivity in Tallinn in 1772 and was canonized in 2000.

This is a nice old church. It appears to be built right unit the old city walls which is cool. I like old churches and it’s worth looking at.

Located near the Tourist Information Office, I stopped and visited here on May 18, 2025 when entrance fee was waived for the day.
At the Ground Floors are exhibits of an artist depicting religious icons, paintings, etc. There is an elevator that one can take to 4 floors of exhibits. At the 4th floor there are big, wide windows to see different areas of Tallinn. Took several pictures here.
I tried pressing keys for the other lower floors, but the elevators would not stop on the 2nd and 3rd floors where I briefly saw several huge bells.
