Super tour of the old town

We took this tour today in the morning and we totally enjoyed it.

Our tourguide, who's originally from London, but lived here for a very long time, knew a lot of interesting facts and showed us the most beautiful places in the old town and was also quite funny.

We absolutely recommend this tour as it gives you a very interesting insight in Rigas history.

Great experience, our guide had a vast knowledge about Riga. He was from Riga so he had personal experience to share with us.

Don’t miss the Alternative Tour of Riga

Terrific Alternative Tour with Henrijs. In a fast-paced 3 hours he gave us an appreciation for the history and culture of both Riga and Latvia. Henrijs is a wonderful storyteller, weaving historical facts with personal anecdotes of growing up in the early days of Latvian freedom. If you have the good luck to have Henrijs as a guide, make sure he gives you his hilarious synopsis of how collectivism operated in the Soviet era.

Eva was our excellent guide. She had many anecdotes that the hubby and I both loved. Our guide was clearly passionate about her heritage and was smiling the whole time. The visit (1 hour 40min) went smoothly and was very enjoyable. The tour is free but we made a 15 euros contributions as the entertainment was worth it.
Highly recommend!

Three day tour with the lads

Just got back from a three day trip with the boys, didn’t know what to expect but I have to say what a beautiful place I have never seen such a clean place. The people are lovely found it a little expensive but that could have been because the World Ice Hockey Championships were on the food was also great.

walk 2,5 quick hours to see another side of Riga with Liga

I chose the alternative walking tour which starts daily at 12:00 in front of the St. Peter church. The tour gave a great insight into the daily life and culture in Latvia. Our tour guide (Liga) was great. There were plenty of opportunities to ask questions, which she answered in depth and she was funny too! The only thing I regret not having asked is the name of her band and the page of her blog 🥲

Informative, interesting and comprehensive history of Latvia, amazing knowledge of the guide and beautifully detailed and presented, I cannot recommend them highly enough to attend their tour, thank you so much.

Excellent walking tour

Excellent walking tour of Old Town Riga today with Ava (apologies if I have her name wrong). She was an excellent guide with lots of relevant and engaging information. She had a great plan and stayed with it - even entertaining us with snippets of the Latvia - US hockey match. A fun tour and an afternoon well spent in this lovely city.

Very good overview of the city

Great introduction to the Old Town area of Riga with lots of information about history and modern day living. Our guide Liga was lovely and made the tour fun. If we'd had more time in the city we probably would have followed on with the Soviet era tour too.

Fantastic! Kaspars was a brilliant guide. Hugely interesting and informative.
It's a must to do one of these tours in order to get a real and proper feel for the history and understanding of this city. 10/10 from Trish and Pete Murphy, Ireland
