One of the most significant art sculptures in Fremantle is the arch made of recycle sea containers called “Rainbow”. It is located within walking distance of the cruise port and overlooks the Swan River and port. The 9 containers shaped in an arch serve as a “welcome to Fremantle” sign. See it for yourself when you are in Fremantle!

Bit hard to find the parking for this little attraction, we ended up walking there from something else we were trying to look at on the other side of the nearby bridge. Anyway, a very well-known Freo spot for photos, a guy rode past on his bike, asking if we'd seen a little black dog. We hadn't - I hope he found him!

This is certainly an eye-catching feature by the river as you get to Fremantle. Tt is great fun to visit.

This colourful rainbow is great to look at and to ponder the engineering skills involved to build it. A visit won't take up a lot of your day.

Had a brilliant afternoon and evening with the crowds at the Highway to Hell event in March. 1 at time visitor to Australia this was a great place, everyone was chilled and having a good time waiting for the trucks to arrive. Fabulous views and vibe down by the river. The containers are a unique feature and I understand they had been recently repainted which is why they looked so vibrant. Great views as the sun went down and a good couple of bars nearby.

I love this site so much I have a photo of this with the iconic cranes in the background as my screen pic on my phone.
It is a very simple concept but a very striking and powerful one. No parking but a nearby bus stop.

Icon fremantle layak untuk dikunjungi, lokasi berada di pinggir jalan raya, dapat di lalui jalan kaki dengan santai dari City hall, jika datang saat sore hari banyak yang berolahraga lari sore.

This is more art than a tourist attraction. It is an interesting placement of painted sea containers stacked into a semi circle. It is easily seen from the major roads or down near the waterfront.
It obviously represents the diversity of fremantle incorporating its shipping significance.
I wouldn't travel to see it but as I said its easily seen as you travel into Freo by car or public transport.

Yes, down around the corner from the Rainbow Container is a couple of free parking spots otherwise there’s a paid carpark nearby
