Waited all week to visit as only open at weekends. Lovely food section but goods on sale were disappointing and very expensive. I wouldn’t visit again.

Worth a trip

Visited the market on Saturday, had a wander around and sampled some of the food on offer - lots of little stalls and plenty of food to try, would recommend a visit

Dropped in after the prison tour around 115pm on a Sunday. Was chocker a block and I mean.... could not move.
Hard to see the stalls and queues for food and people standing in the walkway eating which made it even harder to navigate.
Various food options (if you can manage to get served) and other nic nacs etc. The fruit and veg seemed good quality and cheap prices too

A visit to the Fremantle markets is a must if visiting Perth. Easy to get to by train from Perth CBD or anywhere with a train service. This place is like the old time markets all big cities used to have until they got hung up on posh shopping centres full of big name brands. In other words they are great if you are not put off by crowds. Plenty of other attractions in Fremantle’s shopping district.

Overcrowded and Unpleasant

These markets were very overcrowded to the point that movement was impossible through the food section. I had been hoping for lots of local crafts and products. Some were there but overwhelmed by the large number of cheap import stalls. They could be so much better if they were to restrict to only local products.

I was having a wander around Fremantle and saw the markets. Lots of interesting fruit and veg as well as general market stuff. Good food there too.

The products being offered at this market are poor quality imports which are then sold to customers.
I was hoping for some locally produced products, so it was very disappointing.
It's a mini paddies market, crammed for space inside & full of people, could hardly move. Very unpleasant environment, considering Fremantle itself was quite nice
