Are the private tours very expensive? Sounds like theyre about 100 - 200$ / hour / person?? Im not sure my husband & I could afford this. I will be in Anaheim 2 days before him and once he arrives he will only have 2 days before we leave, thats 2 days including the day he arrives. I was hoping we could do a site seeing tour on the day he arrives. With any of the hollywood/LA group tours, if you do go make a loop anywhere by the airport during the tours - Is it maybe possible, even for an extra fee, to make a stop to pick someone up at the LAX airport at approx 10:45 in the morning and have them join in with any of the fixed itinerary tours of Hollywood/LA/Warner Bros/or the LA&beaches combos or any othersmall group tours that are already in progress and then get dropped off at our anaheim hotel with me afterwards, or would that not really be possible/work out well? Or, Perhaps are there any half day tours that start later in the day? I am staying in Anaheim within walking distance of the parks to do the Disney Parks before he arrives but then my husband who would maybe like to have a short Disney visit is not a big amusement park fan & would like to do some other site seeing when he gets there. Im not really brave enough rent a car and try to navigate our way around ourselves as I recall from only one previous trip to the area that the traffic is quite wicked and LA & area is so big, vast really, and we dont know the area at all. Also I was just thinking its such a long trip from LAX to Anaheim just to drop off a suitcase at our hotel and turn around again to go back into the LA area to see the sites of LA or Hollywood or Warner Bros. Studios, would be some precious time wasted travelling so far back & forth maybe he could just join me straight from the airport on a tour thats already in progress?? Might that be possible?? Any info, tips or advice would be much appreciated. Thank you so much.
