We went to Contra Loma Regional Park There is a nice lake there. This is nice for a walk, enjoying the views, and being outdoors. We had a fun time.

My daughter planned a camping party for my grand daughter's 10th birthday.
It was a camping theme with a tent, campfire, propane logs due to fire danger, and bbq.
The kids played games, fished and made s'mores. Every one had a great time ages 4-78.
The park worker at the gate was wonderful about checking party guests in since my daughter prepaid for day use and parking. Directions were clear to party location and out houses and bathrooms are close and reasonably clean.
My daughter has also used this park for numerous photo shoots and the area is a beautiful location.
There is a beach front pool opened in the summer.

Contra Loma Park is a great place for picnics, fishing, swimming, hiking or walking on many of the trails in the park. There are many trail I have not experienced yet. The scenery is nice and soothing to the soul! Just stop by one day and take a look. You will be glad you did! Also, the park have a Baseball Diamond too. I think they play soccer there also!

This park is a great place to share some outdoor time. The sunrises are amazing, with lots of friendly Walkers & Joggers. If you want an extra workout boost start at the ballfields off James Dolan, the hill up to the reservior is a real butt buster!

This place is great. I have been coming here for years with my family. The pool is nice with competent lifeguards. The park it self is great lots of trees and open space to throw or kick a ball and has lots of benches.

I kind of stumbled across this park and was amazed. Beautiful scenery, great hiking trail, great services and extremely pet friendly. Not only doggy bags around the park but every drinking fountain had a doggy water bowl. Love this place - one of the best in California.

Contra Loma park is perfect for hiking. You can have an easy 2.7 mile hike around the reservoir or you can hike up into the hills to boost the cardio

I really like taking my grandchildren here , it close to home , and has a great pool and atmosphere. my family has had a few birthdays here and we have enjoyed each time. can get a little windy at time so be prepared to tie things down that will fly away.

Is snakes in the swimming area

I have not seen a snake there in the swimming area, but that is an area where there can be snakes around
I would like to know is there snakes that could get into the water where the people swim because that's what I heard and I'm afraid
