The theater has great sound, wonderful seats that recline, and plenty of room between the rows. Great theater!

I was so happy to have my son bring me to your lovely theater. It
reminded me of my childhood in Illinois. I had a great time, the staff was so kind and I liked the reclining seats and your popcorn. I did notice some ruffian slamming his seat around but my son said to not confront such an individual. Please hold these unmannered people responsible so your theater will be preserved for all to enjoy.

Marcus is definitely a great place to visit and enjoy a movie especially with kids. But if you thinking of taking a date there date or your strictly grown ups it falls short of the acceptance mark. For the price they charge for food and drinks, you would think they kept this place up. The seats are all but destroyed..run down and held together by tape. You cant see numbers on the seats to find where you supposed to sit at. And the seats smell I dont know when the last time they were disinfected were. They have a good popcorn special an $5 movie tuesdays..they definitely need to lower the prices on other the other days and for other purchasable items and fix the raggedy azz recliner seats..it looks nothing like the preview shows of the history of Marcus in the movie

Marcus is definitely a great place to go just to get away or take the kids. But date night ready it's not. For the price they charge for food and drinks, you would think they kept this place up. This theater was nice for a very short time when they got their dreamliner seats. If you visit this theater now, you will find ripped up seats (like literally ripped to shreds with a head cover trying to cover at least the head portion). The seats poking you all over due to being ripped up by vandals, I was told almost 3 years ago that they would be fixed but they're still ripped up. Add to that, the LIMIT that they put on their food. The pretzel bites used to be a tray full of pretzels. Now the trays aren't full and they count out a set number of pretzel bites, far from filling the tray, but they still charge a premium. I was told this is done for "inventory" control. Seems more likely that they're cheap and don't want to provide a value to the customers, especially since they still can't fix their seats. Do not take a date to this theater. It's VERY ghetto now. surprised there aren't fights, robberies and stabbings going on at this theater. Maybe there is and it isn't advertised. But really, this is now a hole in the wall ghetto theater. Management doesn't care to address or resolve issues either. "We are going to fix that" meaning 10 years later? And they don't care about the lack of value for the customers. You pay a premium for a bad and uncomfortable experience.

Looking for comfortable seating while you enjoy a movie, head over to Marcus Addision Cinema. They have comfortable recliner seats which make it easier on the body when watching a long movie, no more stiff knees from sitting too long. We found the facility to be clean and during the week when there are no lines to deal with.

I live very close to this place and I try to go any chance I get. This last time I took my 3 year old to watch Coco. The dream loungers are so comfortable and my kids love it. It's also nice to go for an adult night out. There's a bar inside and you can also order food to sit and eat before the movie. Highly recommend it!

Marcus Cinema in Addison IL. is my favorite place to relax and catch a movie. They revamped the theater and now the seats are all recliners with plenty of foot room,you can watch a movie in comfort from a reserved seat without having to search for seating or splitting up.There are also two person (love) recliners.The place is well kept and there is ample parking,nice place,easy to find.Close to 355,Lake st. and Rte.53.
