This Hammam is not built to attract the Tourists, it is for locals, so you can see and feel the real culture of Algerian people there
This place is not having a high standards of hygiene but it is not too dirty or smelly.

Invité par des amis à visiter le Hammam Les IDJER Alger ou j'ai profité d'un repos après une séance de massage, je peux dire que c'est des moments inoubliables mais qu'il y avait beaucoup de monde.

J’y suis allé avec mon cousin, la personne à l’accueil ignore les us et coutumes...il n’avait pas de serviettes l’endroit est sale mal entretenu. J’avais un forfait pour le lavage et le massage j’ai attendu + d’une 1/2 heure sans jamais voir personne alors que des clients arrivaient et passaient devant mo je me trouvais dans le hammam; j’ai donc pris la décision de m’en aller....
Endroit que je déconseille fortement à toute personne ayant un peu de civisme...très déçu les photos du site n’ont rien à voire avec l’endroit: c’est un attrape-nigauds.
Un client demande un panini, on nettoie la plaque avec un ciseau!!!

Hygiène du lieu correcte pour le pays
Ce qui m’a beaucoup dérangé c’est que pour le gommage, le masseur utilise le même gant pour tous les clients :-((
Pensez à prendre votre short de bain car les sous-vêtements ne sont pas acceptés, la nudité non plus (pour les hommes).

If you don't mind nudity and some loudness, this is the place for you .. Lol what a way to start a review!
In general, it's clean, it doesn't differ from what's shown in the rare pictures one can find online, I liked the Hammam, the tayaba ( the woman that helps you wash up ) is very friendly and is good at what she does but as most tayabas are, once starts working on our body, it's hers lol so if you're a bit uncomfortable with being touched in weird ways you may want to skip using a tayaba lol the sauna was amazing and the jacuzzi is clean, also the prices are very cheap compared to other near by Hammams.
