Definitely worth a visit. It's an old ruined Palace. Its 70 dirhams to get in and closes at 5pm. Nice place to walk around and take some pictures.

Questo palazzo è l'attrazione più spettacolare della città. Per chi avesse tempo di visitare un'unico monumento di Marrakesh non avrei dubbi a suggerire questo. Leggiadre e suggestive rovine è tutto quel che rimane di questa costruzione medioevale. Nelle parti alte delle mura nidificano le cicogne, bianchi trampolieri che stamattina erano lassù immobili a prendere il sole.

Unexpected surprise behind such large walls. Great views of the city for the terrace.

A palace that is part ruined part intact, but is very interesting to visit. There is an underground tunnel which exhibits the palace's past, artefacts and photographs.
There's also a terrace where you get views of the palace complex, the city and also the mountains.
I was unable to upload photos again.

This site was our favorite in Marrakech — absolutely beautiful and massive, when you enter you will see sunken orange groves and an enormous reflecting pool, and you may hear a surprising rattle above your head (storks on the wall). Skip the Majorelle and go here instead! Only improvement for us would have been a little more information about the site on-site — though there is plenty for basic orientation.

Better than the Bahia palace in my opinion. Much larger and more interesting. Although it is in ruins, you can still see how grand it was.

Badi Palace in Marrakech is a true marvel of medieval architecture. The moment you step through its ancient high walls, you feel as though you have been transported back in time. My husband, two children and I recently had the pleasure of visiting this historic site and we were all thoroughly impressed by its beauty and grandeur.
One of the standout features of the palace is its magnificent courtyards, which are filled with lush gardens and beautiful fountains. The intricate tile work and stonework of the palace, along with the ornate decoration, are truly breathtaking. The palace's high walls not only protect the palace but also provides a sense of seclusion and privacy.
However, one downside of our visit was the lack of information provided about the palace's history and significance. It would have been nice to have more context and understanding of the palace's past while we were exploring.
Despite this, we still found the palace to be well worth the visit. Its stunning architecture and peaceful gardens make it a must-see for anyone interested in Marrakech's rich history and culture. Overall, our experience at Badi Palace was an unforgettable moment and a great addition to our trip.

My friends and I visited Badi Palace with the local guide hired by our tour company. We visited the Saadian Tombs first.
Badi Palace was one of the more interesting compounds we visited. Part of the buildings are still in use by the royal family and closed to visitors. We got to wander around nearly 75% of the buildings so it's well worth a visit.
My favorite part, besides the nesting storks up in the towers, were the gardens. Sunken around the reflecting pool are lush gardens. The air smells like hibiscus and orange, fabulous. You get some good views from the ramparts, just up a few steps. We also took fun photos in the stairways where ambassadors would wait to be called in.

Entrance costs 70 Moroccan Dirhams, so that's around 7€.
You have the underground section, and then you come up to see the main area.
It's basically a ruin, but interesting nonetheless.

Ciao, se ben ricordo si paga circa 1 euro e vale la pena. Tieni conto che sono più che altro rovine dove oggi vivono molte cicogne ed in una saletta si vede un filmato su come era una volta. Nonostante lavori in corso nel 2015, merita per suggestione e prezzo irrisorio.

if you go by taxy , do bargain
i hired a privet taxi for all day. and it was quit cheap and easy for me.

Il palazzo era una sontuosa dimora decorata con piastrelle dipinte a mano, mosaici, oro, onice, marmo ma il sovrano alawita Moulay Ismail lo saccheggiò 75 anni dopo la sua costruzione per edificare il suo palazzo imperiale a Meknes. Credo che i fori siano i risultati di tale depauperazione
