Lovely palace though not that old (1860 something). And it is totally empty which is a bit of a shame as I'd love to have seen the furnishings - to that end there is a small exhibition in a couple of rooms.
But, the architecture, ceilings and reliefs are truly exquisite. And it's huge!
Worth an hour or so just wondering around.

το περισσότερο επισκέψιμο αξιοθέατο με αίθριο και όμορφα διακοσμημένο κήπο, αρκετές και οι αίθουσες εκθέσεων. εκεί μπορείτε να δείτε τις αίθουσες που έμεναν οι 4 νόμιμες σύζυγοι του βασιλιά και αυτές που έμεναν οι παλλακίδες. ο διάκοσμος πλούσιος και ο χρωματσμός εξαιρετικός. βρίσκεται πολύ κοντά στην κεντρική πλατεία. επίσης οι τουαλέτες είναι κοινές για όλους .

Very impressive palace with stunning mosaics/tiling/architecture all around. A real feast for your eyes.
Definitely worth visiting if in Marrakech. We had a tour guide who gave us insights into it's history which was helpful and added to our experience of the palace.

É preciso comprar ingresso para visitar o museu. Cerca de 10 euros, não lembro exatamente o valor. Os aposentos do Palácio são ricamente trabalhados, e tem uma história interessante por traz dos usos da época da sua construção, que os guias vão contando.
Cada cômodo tem uma decoração diferente, que rendem belas fotos.
Há ainda um lindo jardim com fontes e artesãos que fazem demonstrações dos trabalhos de entalhe, pintura e criação de azulejos.
Acredito que seja um dos pontos mais imperdível da visita a Marraquexe.

As part of our G-Adventures Kasbahs and Dessert tour, they got a guide to take us through the palace. It was very a good visit.
Our guide told us all kinds of cool stuff about the place, showing us the two gardens and all kinds of art and features.
The mosaics are awesome. The stories of why and how the palace was built are fun.
I think this is another one of those visits that is best done with a guide.

Stunning places to visit however, it is mostly just mosaics and architecture. I went around 11.30am on a Friday and it was very busy. Its hard to get decent pictures due to this however, the cost is only 70MAD which is around £5.51 so is very reasonable and cheap. Tickets are purchased on site.
You are not provided with a book guide. I recommend researching Bahia Palace before attending so you are aware of the history. There are some signs in English to read.
It is worth a visit if you have time.
I would also say check the time you attend as the palace is closed for a few hours on Fridays due to Friday prayers.

Hi there, Can I book two tickets online to visit the Bahia Palace on 13 Jan at 9.00 in the morning?

I did a search to see if there was some online ticketing and didn't find anything. However, I showed up pretty early (just after 9 am) and had no problem getting in. It got really busy with all the tours. Suggestion: when I visited the Majorelle gardens at around 10 am, the line up was impossible. When I walked out after noon, there were very few people in the line up. Visiting Marrakech sites at lunchtime may be a good idea as most tours will have lunch during that time.

Hi! I am organizing an excursion to Marrakesh in January with 34 people and would like to know the costs for the Badi Palace. Some websites say 10 dirham and some 70 dirham, this is quite a difference. Also in the reviews here I see different entrance fees mentioned. Can someone help me out?

Hi ribstrips.
To be sincere..You really do not need a guide at all for the Bahia Palace my friend but might take one for a longer visit including others sights too.You can have the list of the official guides online via the delegation du tourisme or with just asking to the place you are staying who might give you some recommendations of the official guides they are dealing with.
This said, You should pay more or less 30/40 euro for half a day and 60/70 for a full day visit in Marrakech.

Hi,
We visited the Palace in mid-January and the admission then was 70 Dirham (about £5.60). The palace opens at 9am until about 5pm and you will probably need a few hours to have a good look round. It’s probably not a place for young children as they would soon get bored. Hope this was of help to you.
