I had a truly remarkable experience during the May Day holiday for the ABC trek in Nepal. Our guide, Depest, was simply amazing. He was extremely responsible, ensuring our safety and taking care of every aspect. His personality was vibrant and he added so much positive energy. He would patiently teach me Nepalese, and he would accompany the slower ones until 9 pm and get up at 4 am to make sure we could catch the ride. His local knowledge was impressive. Thanks to him, this trek was one of the most memorable. I highly recommend Depest. It was a journey filled with great companionship and his outstanding support. I will always cherish the memories he helped create.

Our 25 Day trip in Nepal was one of the best experience we had got in so many years.
I found this company simply searching for Guide hiring in Annapurna and Found out Travel Away Treks. Sudip is owner and dealing with him about our trip was smooth. The price for the trip he offered was really negotiable.
After a long communication with Sudip, we first decided to book Annapurna Circuit with him. And later we did langtang too.
Throughout the both trip we had a same Guide. The Guide name is Ram and he is really an honest and adorable Guide.
He shown us the real beauty of Nepal. And later after finishing the trip he even invited us to him home for dinner.
We really love our time in Nepal and Recommend both Ram and Travel Away to anyone who visits Nepal.

After searching for Everest trip to Nepal on Google and found Travel Away Treks. They helped me sort out the trips such as Ramechhap Transportation,Guide and Porter arrangements and flight tickets.
The trip was well organized and fantastic.
I really had an amazing memories to Nepal. The guide Nurbu is well equipped and fantastic. He made sure that I and my other teammates doesn't miss out any view points during our trip. The most interesting part about our Guide is that every night he used to share the interesting stories of the himalayas. Really Himalayas are filled with lots of wonders.
We really enjoyed each an every part of the trip. And didn't had any issues during our trip to Everest.
We highly recommend Travel Away and Nurbu Guide. Thank you all for your fantastic arrangements.

I have found "Travel Away" online. Before I arrived in Nepal, they arranged a transfer from Kathmandu to Remechhap and the guide. I was picked up from the airport and driven to my hotel as agreed. When we went to Lukla, It had turned out that I needed a porter. The porter was arranged within 15 minutes! The communication was great throughout the entire trip (before arrival, during the trek and afterwards). It is worth to mention that we were offered completive rates for a guide and porter (I compared it against others). Moreover, we were refunded for 1 day as he hired staff for 1 day less as planned! I definitely recommend "Travel Away". If you are looking for a effective, reasonable and friendly service don't go looking elsewhere.

The trekking agency I booked my trip with is trustworthy and probably one of the best agencies I have booked my trip with so far.
I was traveling to Nepal for the first time and found this agency through the internet. I was reluctant at first but then I completed the trip and I felt amazing and all these memories made my trip one of the best.
The view during the ACT trek was vast and stunning. The Slongla pass and Tilicho Lake are really worth a visit.
My guide Dipesh spoke good English and was very knowledgeable about the routes. He took good care of me throughout the trip.
Finally I would like to recommend this agency to everyone who is traveling to Nepal. I hope to visit again soon next time.

if i can mark 0, I would do it for sure. I am Chinese and my friend and I decided and plan to go to EBC for a year. since I didnt do much research for the Travel company, I simply picked up this company and trust them as well as paid all money inadvance without bargain. This is our first time in Nepal and first time do such a long time trek which is not easy for us so we hire the porter and guide to be protected better and minimize our risk during the EBC trek.
however the most unbelievable things happened to us was that the guide he send to us I believed that he never did EBC with three pass before, he is physically not fit, we always wating for him during the trek and he was smoking alot whenever he felt tired, that was not big issue for us, we still have full of patience for him and everyday after reach above 4400m I need to make sure he is ok and ask him about his feeling. one day, he was disappeared for entire afternoon since we planed to go to Chukong Ri, when he showed up he told me that he was sick......we can tolerate for that since everyone can be sick occasionally. however, he just take our kind heart for granted!!
when we arrived base camp, and did anther high point to see the Mt everst, he was leading me at beginning, but same again happened was in the middle of the climbing he was slow down again and stop for smoking, I have to continue since i felt cold, when I near the top there were big rocks and I didn't find the way, he still far away from me then I ask loudly where should I go, he said: "whatever just go straight".....I told him that i couldnt find the way, he just pretend that he didnt hear anything. ....that was 5am in the morning with full of darkness.
while, this is not the worst thing happen to me and my friend, the most awful thing was he did same thing to us when we climb the Gokyo Ri, he stopped in the middle of the climbing, and reluctant to go to the top and ask my friend together waiting for me back to them....my friend refused him, then he slowly went to the top and 30mins behind me. After we take pictures he told us he want go to the bottom and we can walk slowly by ourselves. Then, he rush to the bottom and when we walk done to the bottom he was smoking again, and I was angry and said to him: "if you feel sick, you can wait us in Namchem just leave the porter to us. "
we never expect a shocked and unexpected behavior happened to us was that we couldn't find him in the evening, and asked hotel staff to find him and he said he wont go with us and he will take the porter with him together and we need to find new guide and porter!!!!!!! he abandoned us in Gokyo and at that time the entire Gokyo was no internet connection!!!!
me and my friend was mentally and physically hurt by this guide named "Sagar", it so lucky that I can speak English but how about I cant? what we are going to face? I am very appreciated that the manager of Gokyo Resort helped us to find a porter and we did pass the Renjo Pass and get back safely and as well as other guides from Guests on the way helped us a lot.
however, when I contacted this company to pay me the Porter fee because of what did on the guide, he refused to pay at first and said how to confirm that you really spend 7000 on to hire a porter?
I didnt receive any update for how they are going to do with the guide , even when the day I am go back to China, this company didnt contact us to say goodby ......
please avoid this company if you can, the company didnt have professional guide and they just know earn money and careless the safety of the client.

We did the 3 passes trek with Travel Away and it was perfectly organised, the guide was very knowledgable and friendly.
The travel agent kept in touch to know how the trip was going and delivered on everything we asked for.

We faced many challenges on the way but all were overcame thanks to great support of Sudip who was always under the phone, providing help and necessary tips and amazing joyful guide Nima, who was sorting out almost everything for us so we could enjoy the treck! We highly recommend both.

Sudip has an amazing trip running experience. The Van to Ramechhap is well managed and the Guide Pemba is an amazing guy. Pemba shown us and described us each an every details information on our Everest Base Camp Trek.

Dip was the best guide! We did with him the Annapurna Base Camp trek and he was very professional, extremely helpful, in difficult moments on the route he even walked with us individually by the hand to make sure everyone was safe and okay. He knows the mountains very well and could answer all our questions regarding the trail and what to expect on each day. Because of monsoon season we had 3 full days of raining non-stop and the morale was low but Dip always remained positive, optimistic, and lifted up the mood. He was super friendly and made sure that everybody felt comfortable, welcome, and taken care of during the trip. I highly recommend going on a trek with him!
We had so much fun that we are thinking of doing another trek in the Himalayas in some years and I cannot imagine going with anybody else but Dip!
