This place is a must, especially after the bus ride from Kathmandu or a few days trekking. We booked our whole group in for a 1 massage each and were not disappointed. the variety of massages available cater for all and the staff are very professional and great at releasing muscle tension.

I love this place tucked away from the main street...beautiful and clean with a great esthetic...massages are amazing as are prices...highly recommend and run by women...which I've found in Nepal means much higher standards!

This was the best cheapest spa you will ever get, I recommend the beauty half day package, first you get a 1 hour massage, then you get a facial with stream and a scrub for you face, and last but not least you get a great pedicure and a manicure. The customer service was great and kids of all age can go! Keep it up Jiva Spa!!!

I had just finished the Annapurna Circuit and a massage was certainly on the cards! I took the good reviews to direct me to Jiva spa and was introduced to the amazingly wonderful and talented Jyoti! I was still suffering with a shoulder/neck strain and Jyoti ensured the right pressure on that particular side. Pressure was perfect, but she did ask prior to the massage about any areas in particular and the proffered amount of pressure.
I had a 30 minute neck/shoulder massage and it did the trick! I didn’t have a booking, but was lucky that they could accomodate me immediately!
I’m likely to go back tomorrow for Part 2!! I can only imagine how great a full body massage would be, although my trekker legs are still not up to anyone touching them for a few more days.
The Spa is a tad tricky to find, just head down to Busy Bee cafe and just before you enter swing a right down a little ally way and the signs will point you to Jiva from there. Tranquil music in the massage rooms, warm lemon water on arrival too. There is no rush to leave.

Great massage after 10days trek. We are quite picky when it comes to massages with my husband but here we got excellent treatment and high quality massage for very appealing price.

The absolute best spa experience in Nepal for me. I had a 90 min Nepali massage and the therapist was fantastic and professional and I felt relaxed and rejuvenated. What makes the time at Jiva truely outstanding is the peaceful and tranquil ambience. Your treatments are done in private cottages with ensuite, gentle music and traditional decor and the space is spotless clean. You are welcomed by the friendly staff with lemon infused water and a foot wash and can rest with a complimentary tea afterwards. I have been here many times and will be back. Thank you Trish and team for creating an oasis of peace in busy lakeside .

This was the best spa I have ever experienced - my sister and I did a half day package made up of body scrub, massage and facial. (We both went back for a mani-pedi - also well worth it, the next day). The half day was blissful and cleaned us up after our trek. Very professional staff and not expensive at under 5000 rupees. I’d highly recommend it.

Wij kwamen hier voor een massage na een zeer goede review ge lezen. Je moet hiervoor best vooraf bellen. Wij belden enkele uren van te voren en konden nog komen. Wij namen de trekkers massage en deze was heel goed. De huisjes zijn netjes. Buiten is het wel enorm verloederd en de bar is ook niet meer in gebruik. Wij kregen nog wel een welkomsdrankje maar verder konden we niets bestellen. Het was er ook niet heel gezellig om te zitten. Helaas zie je hier de gevolgen van de coronacrisis heel hard. Hopelijk wordt dit allemaal nog hersteld! Je betaalt ongeveer €20 voor een uur massage.
