Best Fruit and Vegetable carving experience

One of the best and skill-full vegetable and fruit carver , Wan is very helpful and accommodating in assisting you the “ins and out” on how to carve, also the style and technique to create an amazing fruit/vegetable masterpiece as a garnish or an additional ingredients for your recipe/menu.

Master Carrver great experience

Wan is a master carver..when in class in person she knows your next move in carving a piece and is right there to assist. A wonderful.learming experience. Plus they offer classes on video so you can continue learning and getting guided instruced practice.

Unparalleled learning experience from Wan Hertz

My wife and I attended the Siam Carving Academy for nine days, taking the beginning, intermediate, and advanced carving courses from Wan Hertz. Wan is truly a master carver and a very patient instructor. She started us out slowly, and as our skills increased, challenged us with increasingly intricate tasks that kept us riveted to our work. When each day of class was over, we were truly amazed at what we accomplished under her guiding hands.

Wan and her husband, Larry, are very personable, and we greatly enjoyed visiting with them each day. They taught us a lot about the Thai culture. Wan took us shopping at the Chatuchak Market one evening after class, and spent a whole Saturday taking us to the floating market. One lunch hour, Larry gave us a tour of the local street food vendors, pointing the dishes and drinks that were especially tasty.

Wan is also a very skilled chef. Each day she made lunches for us that rivaled the best restaurants in Bangkok.

The Siam Carving Academy is located a convenient five minute walk from the Sutthisan metro station. The facility is clean and comfortable.

We had a fulfilling and memorable experience. We recommend it to anyone interested in creative and challenging Thai fruit and vegetable carving.

Thai Master Carver Series Course

I attended the 9 days intense course of Thai Master Carver Series Course for Thai Fruit & Vegetable and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to take a new challenge and enjoy the ride with the proffesional attitude and behavior of Mrs. Wan, she was definitely very polite and available throwout the duration of course and not only.
To don' t forget the help of Mr. Larry who was a great help for anything and even a personal guide for me in Bangkok 🤗😁.
I felt part of the family already and cant wait to travel again in Bangkok and visit them both, this time with more knowledge in the amazing art of Carving, thanks to them 🙏😁.

Casual 3-hr Carving Class

I attended the 3-hours class with my mother-in-law. Wan, our teacher and master carver, is very friendly and approachable. She taught us how to carve flowers, baskets and leaves using tomatoes, carrots and cucumbers. We were each provided with a carving knife which we could bring home with us. The art of carving was definitely not easy but this class was a good and fun experience for us.

Had a great time with Wan. What a lovely teacher. I was very lucky to have her all to myself. I was able to learn a lot. The dinner was a lot of fun with Larry and the food was great.
I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to try fruit carving.
